So beautiful and peaceful. With all the stress in America I can relax and wish I was there with you. Love to hear the sheep. Hope you both are well. Thank you for your videos and vlog. Till next time, God bless.❤️
Beautiful countryside! That looks like a perfectly good pig house. I have seen videos where they unload the pigs by holding them by their back legs and carrying them upside down. They hardly wiggle. Prob scared to death! Tova, you look beautiful.
It’s so wonderful and relaxing watching your videos. One idea for you meat is to put it directly in the pan with the foil over the top. I’m almost to the baby. I can’t wait! Thank you so much!
Wooo hoooo ! ! ! A new relax video for bedtime ! ! Relaxing but never boring. Rename the pigs " pork " and " chop " or " big " and " mac ". Nice to see you three again.
Hows it feel to have created the worlds best, most beautiful vlog opening scenes-music of any in the entire world ? Way 2 go ! And i like so much your closing moments when the Talisman crest set upon each of your abdomens..you two possess such huge charismatic artfulness .
I know you've heard this again & again... but you make absolutely stunning videos. I enjoy watching homesteading-type videos... but yours is my favorite & the only one that I decided to become a patreon of. :) I hope you get to the point where you can both stay home & build this beautiful life. I'm watching the videos in order (except I snuck ahead for the birth.... which was so moving. I can't explain how much it touched my soul.) I can't wait until the video where you welcome me as a new patreon. Also: 50 gallon food grade barrel for pig water, with "pig nipples" toward the bottom. You can put rocks in it to one side (or the whole bottom below the spout) to hold it down. Just take the rocks out to move. Blessing to your little family 👪
Great video. We will share this with our customers for sure :) We sell land in rural areas and this will help generate some great ideas. Thanks for creating this!
Great to see things are going well on the homestead but more importantly the pregnancy! Piggies are cute, time to make a mud pit in the spring..lol..great hearing and seeing you guys again, cheers!!
I love hearing you talk in your language and your English is very good. Nice to see you both again, not long now till the little one arrives, exciting. I think your two new additions to the farm are cute. Take care and have a great day.
I found your channel just a couple weeks ago, but you live the life has it is supposed to be. I am really in love with your channel and the way you live life. It is my dream to live one day the way you are living today. Much love from Portugal.
As a substitute for the aluminium foil you could use a claypot (lergryta) and jam the thermometer inbetween the lid and the bottom half! Good luck with the piglets!
Can't explain how much I like to share in your life together on your farm. You two are so wonderful together and such a joy to watch you go through your daily life. Thank you so much for sharing with the rest of us. :-) Linda from Louisville, KY.
A thought on the pig watering issue; I've seen some people here in the States use a tire with a bucket mounted in the middle. It can be rolled to the next location, stands up to the pig's abuse, and is cheap. There's a channel called FarmBuilder you could check out. The two of you are wonderful people and we love watching. Thank you.
What a beautiful, private wooded forest you have your homestead on! So very, very excited for this new chapter you two are both heading into with you're little one! Good luck, safe birth and may God bless you both! 🤗👶🍼💛
Ah, Sweden in late winter, and you're both looking well. The baby will be here before you know it so better get that bed built. Your videos always make me smile. Thank you.
I just watched this video for the second time! So beautiful. I can’t wait to see the sweet little one ❤️ We are praying for you and the baby to be safe 🙏🏼
When I am scanning through TH-cam and you come up it really brightens my day! Love the scenery, music, tranquility and both of you and your sweet spirits. I am excited about the baby coming soon. God Bless from Texas, U.S.A. Pigs and house great!
I don't think pigs are too picky! If they could talk they would thank u for their lovely home! Good job! 👍👍 two thumbs up! Tova you have such a cute bump! Can't wait to catch up to see the vlogs with cute baby!
lovely beginning. I like the communication between Tova and the sheeps. Silently following her or talking to her when see her near by. Sweet 🙂 Also it’s great that you Tova are staying active and luckily can spend so much time outside on a fresh air. Nowadays most popular way of pregnancy “do as little as possible and let the doctor’s decide everything”... In my opinion that way your body loose stamina and giving birth became even more shocking to the body (such a shake after nine month of rest!!!). Also being surrounded by other’s suggestions snd recommendations - you can’t hear you own body. For you Tova to be far away from doctors let you be in peace and concentrate on you condition much better and allow you to see good or bad signals earlier and more clear, so if smth not going well you can search for help in advance. Mathias - great filming and editing. It’s a pleasure to watch and listen 🙂. Thank you. great work with the log! Looks like you did better this time with a chain saw when doing the middle cut (sorry I forgot how you called it). You didn’t cut too deep this time! That’s experience for you! “take what you have and do what you need” - golden world! watching your story from the first video I like to see that now you are saying “we have all time in the world” and you are not rushing instead of “we want it as sion as possible, we must harry hurry”. It’s best way I think. work with your own pace and enjoy and feel the present.
Here I am, on a country side for a weekend. 😊 Away from office, traffic and dust. Celebrating my homeland’s Independence day and watching your beautiful video and pigs. 🥰 🤷🏻♀️❤️❤️ greetings!
Great looking pigs!! I love their colors. Their hut is fine. I've made mine huts made out of pallets. They really don't care. Pigs are great, I was saying they are always such happy animals. Well at least mine have always been. They do best if they can have lots of roaming space. Birds singing is called, "chirping"
It's great to see you back. It's winter in your place and it's almost spring in Poland. Today I saw the first storks! Recently I heard on the radio that in Poland they begin to sell this sumptuous yogurt which is quite popular in Sweden!
Wrap your meat in parchment paper and then foil. It will hold the juices in and keep the aluminum out of your food. I just lay the foil out flat and put a layer of parchment paper on top. Put your spices on and then wrap it up.
try pig nuts and also pigs are good foragers nettles they like just some ideas. love the pig house you are doing a good job keep going try a bucket of feed to encourage them into a pan or transporter
I was surprised to see you using aluminum foil... then immediately after you said you didn't like using it! It made me chuckle... I don't like it either (I have a child who had aluminum toxicity)! I'm not sure if you are able to use clay pots in/on your woodstove--maybe it's too hot. Sometimes, there's no other way but to use the foil--I first use parchment paper to wrap or cover the food and make a barrier between the foil and the food. Maybe that will help because you can still use the thermometer. I love that you do what you can knowing you'll figure out a better way!
Mathias, have you tried "Roasting bags"? I use them a lot, and they are transparent so you can see the meat and what is going on at the same time and all the damp and spices stay in the bag. I do not use a thermometer. I always roast the meat for several hours so it is very, very tender.
I was so delighted to see notification of a video from you! Tova, you are blossoming! Your little one will soon be here and I'm so excited for you. Mathias, the pig shelter is perfect. It serves the purpose for which it was made and that is what is important. You are a very clever young man and you have much to be proud of by taking such good care of your wife and homestead. My husband and I admire you wood working skills. Thank you for inviting us in to see your beautiful life. I will keep you both in my prayers that all will go well with the birth of your wee one.
I second what 1ofSevensisters said. It's a real delight. Your home, land, animals lifestyle is so interesting and I learn something each video. Thank you. ❤👶🍼👶🍼👶🤰🤰
Wishing you all peace and happiness and hope the new arrival will connect some more dots in your amazing journey. I love your videos and the calmness that you radiate even though you must sometimes have great frustrations. You are true pioneers and I shall be following closely as you progress. Good luck my friends and please keep uploading!
Mattias, you look so much happier than a year ago. I can see the twinkle in your eyes again. Tova, I think you are a little more tired, which is not so strange if kiddo is kicking you constantly! Hang in there girl, and I hope the massage gives you some well deserved relaxation! As for the tummyhole in the bench, I once saw a lady cut a hole in a stretcher/lawnchair, and she parked herself on her belly on that thing, with indeed, belly going through the hole. I laughed so much, and so did she, it was indeed very funny. But it was also insanely comfortable for her, as she could finally "take the weight off". Good luck you two with the next month! (ps, small video's, of like a few minutes, are fine too if that's all that is convenient in the times to come!) we will love 5 minutes updates too, if and when life is a little too busy with Little One arriving soon. Just so you hopefully won't stress about taking video's too much. :)
Thank you so much, I think he is doing much better now, with small down peaks from time to time. I dont get as much sleep in the night as i would like to, so maybe thats why i look tired :D I got the tip to buy a swim ring (im not sure if its called that) and use, havent bought one but its a great idea! Have a wonderful day! /Tova
@@Talasbuan Growing a whole new human is hard work, so being tired seems totally natural to me. And look at all the things you still do! And gosh how gorgeous there, with the sun on the snow. 🌈🦋 I think the swim ring is a good idea too. (seems like the right name... Im Dutch, so also not native to English) I wish you a wonderful night(s). I hope baby will be really sleepy for a while, so you can get some extra rest. 😊
Try getting a metal pail. Cut a keyhole(circular hole with a notch above it) into it up high on the pail below the rim. Not too high so the pail still rests on the ground. Then drive a nail with a wide head into a tree. Slide the keyhole in the pail onto the nail and Bob's your uncle!
So beautiful and peaceful. With all the stress in America I can relax and wish I was there with you. Love to hear the sheep. Hope you both are well. Thank you for your videos and vlog. Till next time, God bless.❤️
Beautiful scenery, beautiful music, beautiful people, beautiful animals. That's ZEN....
Love it when Mathias says : the little person to come.💖
Happy for you guys . For the baby 👍
We are anxious for the baby to arrive. Stay healthy and keep us informed.
Nice seeing this cold and peaceful place
