Hope you enjoyed our video :) A simple generator would be an easy solution for us to make machines like the meat grinder possible to use at our place, I guess we will get one some day.

It's not very good idea to be so active when you are pregnant! After so many years without baby to continue to do unsafe things... ohh, it's very dangerous! Be careful please!

@@gigigrey495 I do think the opposite, if you are active throughout the pregnancy you will have an easier birth and a healthier baby. In the history of humans people have not been sitting still for nine months ☺️ but thank you for your concern! /Tova

@@Talasbuan being active is the best thing like you said. Also in China still today women work in the rice fields up to and directly after child birth. They also squat to have them in many cultures. After my recent miscarriage I am so upset at American society. I chose to let my body naturally miscarry at home and we buried my son. So many people wanted me to go to the hospital and have my baby "the tissue" disposed of!!!! My neighbor even called the state police on me and after an investigation they decided I did nothing illegal and apologized for everything.

Not true...follow your heart..& your body's voice..Your body lives to be pushed..& your baby is loving the ride, the sounds& your energy. Your work is your life dance...& your baby is bringing in that rhythm. My daughter also remained very active right up to her baby coming....& likewise during her 2nd baby's 10 month ride. Keep up your passionate dance ! And let your partners lips be the pleasant substitute for any towel !

And the fact that it is winter, throws in a little bit of that hibernation feeling too. 🧡💛💚 And I absolutely LOVED the beautiful scenery, and the sausage making, and I'm looking forward to the home made babyshelf. ;-)

I can't imagine that you would have anything but natural childbirth without intervention. I had a baby in a hospital first, and did not raise her.. My second child was born in a hospital without intervention. And my third was born out in the forest far from hospitals. I nursed each child for two years. They are now 53, 48 and 45 years old. You are so smart in your approach of intention. Your child will be beautiful as are mine. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Oh my, you brought back lots of memories for me with this video. I grew up in the middle of the United States where it gets cold to slaughter animals without electricity. The meat grinder you showed looked almost exactly like the one we had and used many years. The meat would get down in the low 30's (F) and it would still go through the grinder.. Sorry you got only the one plate but maybe you will be able to find another one - that would be helpful. Tova, glad to see your smooth movements on the skis. The exercise and stretching will increase your endurance and aid your body in doing what is required of it during childbirth. I wish you both well and look forward to seeing more videos from your channel.

Tova you look wonderful. When it comes to babies you will get all kinds of advice. I didn't listen to a lot of it. We do what we think is best for our babies because not one is the same and you really don't know until you are a parent. You get to know that little one and what it needs. I know you two will have the most important aspect and that is, you will love this little one with all your hearts. It's not very hard to fall in love with them. For me the most wonderful experience I had with my newborns, was when they were with one of the nurses and she would bring them to me crying. They would immediately stop the instant they heard my voice. They knew me. I will never forget that.

Love Sally Fallon's books. Our second child was planned home birth and it was a really good experience. During pregnancy with first child it was recommended to listen to a recording of ocean waves. As in labor comes in waves and if you attune yourself to thinking of the waves more like ocean waves it helps you to keep your body more relaxed. It did help me but I like listening to the waves normally.

My two children were both, initially, home births. Both were stressful. My wife, supported by two midwives, struggled for 36 hours, including ‘breaking’ the water and , eventually, we had to go to the Toronto Sick Children hospital where all the things we wanted to avoid, like Epidural, epesiotomy (cutting ), etc. transpired. At one point during recovery a nurse walked in, picked up my son and headed for the door without a word to the mother who, of course, stopped the nurse and insisted on accompanying them to correct some jaundice. My daughter was born at home in the mountains of central Vermont. At one point the midwives decided to go to the hospital but, upon checking , decided that my daughter was about to arrive and after climbing 20 steps back up to the chalet bedroom , did soon arrive BUT my wife started the dangerous procedure of haemhorraging (?). Fortunately we had connected to the best birthing hospital which allowed their midwives to carry Pitocyn which, when administered into the stomach immediately stopped the blood flow, thereby saving my wife’s life.
The moral for me is to try to be in or very close to a medical facility prepared to deal with all eventualities. Many women throughout the world give birth without much assistance but , from our experience, I would try to do it as safely as possible.
