Met Tommy at CJ Socal last weekend. He was trying not to plug ETA, but now I feel like he should have lol. I would have asked to try these out. He was wearing 'em around his neck. Appreciate the KPP comparison. They've been my go-to since 2012. I never go anywhere without 'em. Legendary.
The Toms are so down to earth! Honestly some of my favorite people =) I did a write up and Q&A with them over on my website with both Tommy an Tom =) Ev wasn't there otherwise I'd have him up there too! CanJam Socal was a lot of fun this year =) Here is the website link if you are interested in reading a lil about them : unsupervisedads.com/people-weve-met
Just watching you head bop kind of made me want to get them! But the price…..😮 The only on ears I own is an original set of HD 25 that I have set up for portable use. They’re over 30 years old and still sound/function well.
Give the Porta Pros with Yaxi pads a try… the combo should be around $40-$50 depending on style. I will say the O2s are very good! I think I’d take them over most $500 headphones I’ve tried… but, I fully appreciate that is a lot of money.
I personally prefer dynamics to planar so, for me… yeah, I’d go ETA over Ananda. But, I haven’t heard the Ananda Nano just the OG Ananda… which was very detailed but bright
Don’t sleep on these folks. Probably my favorite surprise headphone when I tried it at a recent audio event. Quick question, how’s the sound leakage out of these? Thinking about using these at night for portability.
That $550 usd is a rough sell but if you love them then it hurts less with every hour of play time they get. Love this koss though, i have been meaning to get a set for a while. Is the wireless version any good?
Go get a Porta Pro with Yaxi pads! Much more affordable, these def aren’t for everyone, as are all things :) well worth hearing yourself if you get the chance though!
@@SileDevil this is all that matters :) if you’re happy, enjoy your setup! I’m being for real in case this came off as not genuine lol text can be hard sometimes ha!
Just stumbled across your channel and can't believe you only have 3K subs. Really been digging the vids!
Oh wow! Thank you! Sorry I missed this comment originally, been a busy summer with dad duties ha! Cheers and thank you again for the kind words!
Always cool to learn about new gear and DIY things like this. Nicely done!!
Have to love passionate people! Hopefully you get a chance to try them!
Nice review and lovely recommendation. Also, thanks for pointing out the new GoGoPenguin album. 🙂
Yeah! I was stoked when my buddy let me know that it was out!

Also... definitely concur on the KPP! though in my opinion they need the Yaxi pads to really shine =)
@@TylersEclectic Yup. Got orange Yaxis on my wireless ones lol. Btw, those purple Yaxis are beautiful on the all-black chassis.

Vibes demmuh cool!! Love the thoughts bro bro
Thanks bro! Appreciate ya!
Would you prefer ETAs over an Ananda nano? Any thoughts on comparisons other than Loss? I am considering an upgrade from my Sundara.

Living in an apartment I do appreciate a good pair of headphones. When/if my Sennheiser 599's ever die I may have to check these out.
Purple does make everything better
Facts!! How you been?
@@TylersEclectic great! Enjoying the music, I think I'm waiting on the loaner for this set. How're you?
@@xerosphoenix I’m good! Enjoying spring weather finally ha!

They leak quite a lot! The semi-closed is better at holding in sound… both are fantastic! Love the O2!
Awesome vibe, great impressions!

I haven’t tried the wireless version. But a buddy loves the wireless for working out in the gym… nothing crazy just weights I believe…
The wired KPP were my default headphones for 10 years. Switched to the wireless KPP, and they have now replaced the wired ones.
but 550$ ? dafuq gimme a break
