    I love how quietly Jessica wins and loses her matches. A no thrills, no drama and most of all no noise when she plays.

      Yes, kind of lack luster and boring.

      Her desire to win isn't very high. She's happy with any result. Her dad is a billionaire.
      Imagine coming from less and achieving more than you can Imagine ...making your own path. Would be a great feeling.
      Pegula has been given everything , every opportunity to be where she is.
      At the end of the day she coulda been anything she wanted and still have millions and millions more than most ppl.

      It’s refreshing to see. It reminds me of the 00’s when this was the temperament of most players.

    Siniakova has compelled her capacity in order to force Pegula in the extra hits and strikes but the resilience of Jes Pegula is really immaculate. Pegula absolutely makes a breathtaking impact with her motion and harmony. It points out that she will be more consistent in the forthcoming periods of 2024 season.

    Good to see two players actually playing a full match,the withdrawal of players before a Grand Slam is becoming unacceptable the WTA need to have a long look at ways of stopping this because they are not all injured.😮

    • @ivanhall6482
      @ivanhall6482 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      The WTA needs to do a better job with scheduling and player care at tournaments. They may not all be injured, but fatigue/exhaustion are just as damaging to an athlete at this level.

      The ATP is even worse. Felix Auger-Aliassime getting to the final of Madrid because he was gifted walkovers in THREE matches...only to retire himself in Halle three tournaments later. Tennis is grueling, though...and year-round. In singles, you can't wait for some "teammate" to do the work. NFL is a partial season with a whole bunch of standing around and starting/stopping. Watching a game is just staring into another man's eyes. Baseball is also a lot of standing around.

    • @vbw4501
      @vbw4501 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Even worse than this is, not withdrawing but playing the match with minimum effort, almost "losing on purpose" I can say, to focus on either singles or doubles only. I mean if you are not able to play both, then simply withdraw from the beginning. This is just fooling the audience.

    • @Michael64425
      @Michael64425 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ok looks like we can all agree on something needs to change including as others say the schedule for tournaments.Two Grand Slams so close together is also a pain surely and I know they have the US hardcourt season couldn’t an extra week in between the French and Wimbledon be worked out so avoiding need for withdrawal.

    • @ivanhall6482

      Iga won't win Wimby for for 2 reasons - she lacks the confidence and comfort on grass, and too many players can close the gap between her and them on the slick fast surface.

    • @ilovesplating3
      @ilovesplating3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@bpure2560 yeah maybe, but grass still gives the opportunity for hard hitters to shine, which can be tricky for iga, and plus she isn't doing any grass tournaments before wimbledon, so she won't be super prepared to win.
