Never thought I'd say this about an Escalade, but I like it! It makes no apologies as a huge ass American SUV with an excellent attention to detail and refinement.
After watching the 2015 Cadillac Escalade reviews for months now, this video is by far one of the most in-depth video out of the bunch and you make it seem so easy, like always.
I've had this car for half a year now and its excellent! it was intimidating to drive but its super easy now that I'm used to it and the interior is genius!
At 4:17: "If you've ever driven the previous generation of the Escalade..." Then a pearl white previous generation Escalade comes up at the same time he says it, perfect timing!
As a Ford Guy, I actually have to say I like it. I'm impressed what they have done with it. But I don't know about the Tail lights... and those mirrors look tiny lol! But either way this is nice! Def. a good competitor to the Navigator... which sadly no longer comes with a V8. But wow this Escalade has a nice sound to it too.
That One Ford Guy Personally I dont think Lincoln even competes with cadillac any more ford has not been keeping up with them at all it is kind of sad. I think a proper competitor for Lincoln cars would be Buick and for the Navigator probably the Yukon
I just got the 2015 Platinum version of this after having a 2013 Platinum, and if I had to change anything on this vehicle, it would have to be the rear lights, they look too much like a Volvo to me, but besides that, its probably the top Luxury 8-Seat SUV on the market right now.
We are looking at a 2015 now. Looks super nice. Towing capacity is what were were looking for. Luxury is a added bonus. Great vid as always. You should do an ASMR video where you just open doors, touch things, walk around the vehicle. Soft talking.
Under the settings there was a option labeled Turn Arrow and it was off. Is that to turn on the red turn signal in the mirrors like the older ones had?

Brandon James I've driven many ones, my total Escalade odometer for the 3 I've driven was roughly 1,800 (usually rental cars) miles, and let me tell you - they're absolutely horrible. Rental car selection is surprisingly bad sometimes.

Trikster1of4 I never said anything about the GT-R. I don't do drag racing unless I'm going to a drag strip. And if I do go to a drag strip, I'm always driving a purpose-built drag car. And I almost never go to a track either. You are right about why someone would take this over a, like you said. QX80 or a G-Wagen. I'm not the biggest fan of the QX80 (mostly because of the styling), but at least it is much better than an Escalade. I love G-Wagens though. If only I could drive one - specifically a 6-wheeled AMG one. Because why wouldn't you have an impractical 6-wheeled 500HP gun on wheels?

Then you could mention its obnoxiously huge fake chrome grill which is just about the only thing that's differentiates it from the Yukon and tahoes, and the fact That it's as square as a box truck with no lines or styling whatsoever and bam!! You just wasted 90k on a 40k suv because there's a big shield in between the headlights when u could've bought a Tahoe, the same exact thing for like 40 thousand dollars less which by the way, barely looks any better. These damned things are huge. One day I was driving home and a previous gen Escalade was behind me (it's not that common thing here in Europe) and it filled up the whole lane, and all I saw in my rearview was its gigantic front grille. I kinda like it though.

The electronic instrument cluster is a really nice touch. It looks awesome. Makes everything seem a lot cleaner, simpler, and sleek.

Escalades are so ugly lol. Still a rebadge Tahoe for stay at home moms to cool for a minivan. This thing is just hideous, not an suv out there that doesn't beat this in looks. And why have a digital display of analogue gauges? Lol just everything about these cars are so backwards, can't stress it enough

Explain to me how it isn't lol. For one thing, its tail lights are absolutely retarded. Then you could mention its obnoxiously huge fake chrome grill which is just about the only thing that's differentiates it from the Yukon and tahoes, and the fact That it's as square as a box truck with no lines or styling whatsoever and bam!! You just wasted 90k on a 40k suv because there's a big shield in between the headlights when u could've bought a Tahoe, the same exact thing for like 40 thousand dollars less which by the way, barely looks any better. I do like the yukons looks the best but y does gm feel like they need to make 3 of the same thing? Jeez. At least put some effort into them. Nissan quests with leather and a lift kit jesus

Anybody know why the hell the display in this truck and the one in the Z06 Corvette ( i dont know about other cars that have this ) flicker? I have a 2014 GMC Sierra SLT and it doesnt do that. Anybody know why? Im just curious.
These damned things are huge. One day I was driving home and a previous gen Escalade was behind me (it's not that common thing here in Europe) and it filled up the whole lane, and all I saw in my rearview was its gigantic front grille. I kinda like it though.
