Ian, thanks for your comment. We are making good upgrading our military equipment however the C-130 and Orians are to replaced over the next five years. We still do not have Strike Force, perhaps your surplus Typhoons could assist us! My family is well thanks. Mike, NZ should purchase all of Japan's retired F-4s. You probably couldn't find better, well maintained all purpose fighter jets anywhere. Plus I just like to the the F-4 fly, I know I'm selfish.

@@regregan5755 only reason New Zealand has not needed them was because of a serious lack of commitment towards security cooperation amongst the many alliances. Sooner or later they’ll realize that they need them, just as they realized they need to overhaul and modernize the entire Defence force
