I watch these videos about bears for a reason, so that I can actually learn about them! They are actually my favorite animals and I enjoy watching them eat!
Bummed. I didn't realize the spirit bears were on utube. I was hoping they would have stayed a delightful secret. Sure was nice to see them again tho. Thanks for the upload.🙂👍🤘⭐🐻
This is a good video because this bear is actually getting the Nutritious foods that he/she needs!! This bear wants to be healthier and much happier!!! This bear got all the decent amount of Nutrients that this bear actually needs before they go and hibernate in their cave!!
Bears go for the egg sacks for the high fat content and usually leave the majority of the fish in tact. The shots of the bear eating the 'dead' salmon is late in the season. It has some pretty good weight on it by this time too. Nice video.
@@logicalblackman8228 In places where the fish are most plentiful, it's quite common to see nearly the entire fish left behind after they eat the parts mentioned.
These bears have never been hunted. Only photography so they have no fear at all. They are incredibly gentle and frequently sit next to photographers. Only this tiny population though!!
Probably just tired of all the tree huggers photographing them from 20 yards and habituating their way into a run in with the local conservation officer.
We have a zoomlens on the camera. And those bears are peaceful, no bad experience with people, never been hunted for instance. See our other video's on our channel: www.TH-cam.com/TinekeMike!
@@joaovictorsilvateobaldo2043 Nah, pizzly/grolar bears are something else entirely. Spirit bears are basically black bears with a rare recessive gene that makes their fur the complete opposite colour
Really looks like a Grolar bear. I accept it's a "Kermode" bear but that aside, i would say that we will see more and more hybrids as the ice caps melt further and their habitats merge more.
There’s been some debate about that. What makes you think that? The Grolars/Pizzlys I’ve seen have a brownish hue whereas the spirit/Kermode is more orangish like this one. Also this video was shot in an area known to have a spirit bear population. Maybe the person that posted this will weigh in since they call it a spirit bear. It’s body type is also more brown bear than polar. Polar bears heads are more pointed, not round like this one. Any way, I think so. Anyway, I appreciate the polite debate. Elsewhere I’ve seen people being so rude when they disagree. I don’t get that.
Kermode/Spirit bears aren’t hybrids. They are normal American black bears they just possess a rare usually recessive genetic trait, pizzly/Grolar bears are hybrids however

@@smoofceggie9740 It's the natural life cycle of the salmon. When it's time to lay eggs, they swim back to the river they were born in to lay they're eggs. Once they'e laid, the salmon dies of exaustion.

They sure do enjoy eating salmon!
At least this bear is actually getting enough nutritions from eating a lot of salmon! a huge meal for all of these bears!
Cool to see their chubby butts waddle off to hibernate.
Such beautiful coloring. Orange-blonde fur is so lush on it.

Great video and no annoying adds. Thank you so much.
they're totally wonderful animals!!

what a beautiful being!
This bear breed must be protected. This is the rare breed.
They are really not a breed all to themselves. They are just North American black bears that have a recessive gene.
They all need a hand tbh.
Just be glad that this rare species is being watched over no matter how they're fed. Frozen, or live salmon, they'll eat whatever they can find.
