I’m fine with recruiting the portal/mid-major players. So many of those players are fantastic and help create “Cinderella moments “ in the NCAA Tournament. Fascinating time in college basketball.
I agree. I would rather recruit a good "mid-major" player with quality college experience than a 5-star high school player (who played against questionable competition) who thinks that they are entitled to start. Too many of the latter have sunk UK in the NCAA the last few years (along with poor coaching).

Brea is almost a 50 percent 3 pt shooter, Kerr Krissa is a 42 percent, Travis Perry shot like 45 percent and collin Chandler shot like 43 percent or something. All four legit threats from deep.
I don't see it... I see a good collection of players but I don't see the cohesiveness on paper... I mean who is the glue guy ? Who is the starting point? This team vastly differentiate anything Mark Pope has ever coached...

I am not sure I would agree with the term, “Kentucky Dominated”. Coach Pope and Staff did well thus far. The experts have rated his recruitment efforts in the top 10. My concern will be having them all play as a team. There are some egos in this group (Kerr Kriisa) and they all believe they are superstars. In my opinion (I believe I’m entitle to one) the best transfer addition is Brandon Garrison. He has 3 years remaining and with some development could be a dominating player, if he is patient. My next concern will be Travis Perry, he is a scoring stud. But will they give him enough playing minutes to keep him next year. Time will tell! GO BIG BLUE!

Looks like a lot like Arkansas last year... A bunch of really good players but lacks the overall cohesiveness needed to actualize full potential...
