KF, I have to say your Courseplay tutorials are excellent - well-paced, focussed and clear. I particularly like how you take pains in editing to fast-forward any and all of the real-time stuff that isn't relevant. Do you think you could do a *really* advanced fieldwork tute on odd-shaped fields and using eg. multiple seeders with refill courses? I'm playing the truly awesome Cherry Hill Farm map now, and that Field 3 is driving me crazy.. ;)
Just another little secret I do to benefit from this more is before you start the mission and if you need straw bales, have a tractor and Baler next to the field ready. Start the mission and Activate straw swarth and start harvest on the field with CP and save the course. Then quickly jump in your tractor/Baler and load the course and hit start, then get back in harvester. You then get bales that you can collect later and that stay there after you complete the mission, as loose straw on the field is removed on mission complete. You might as well use it as the farmer you do the work for doesn’t do anything with it. So technically it’s not cheating.
HAHAHA! That's rich! I totally love it. You know half of us are going to try this. Ok, the reason is to maybe get the farmer to like you and give you the field cheaper when it's time to buy. But you could just edit the money, but it wouldn't be as funny as doing this just once.

Nice vid. You earned a sub here. Wondering if you could do a vid using multiple vehicles leaving the farm, going to field, working field, and heading back to farm. combining courses perhaps using crossing points. Courseplay everything. Thanks and nice work!
Just use GPS mod because you're paying for the couresplay cost if you told it to do so. On GPS mod tell it to turn at the edge of field with half of the working width and if tractor/combine has a large turn radius tell it to skip a lane. does the whole field in no time for no cost!
+Delekham I already cut it down once, but that was on a save where I owned that field. For this video, I had to make a new save so that I could do the field mission.
I dont save the course. I just go back and change to transfer mode after i genereted the course. Hook up a baler on "follow me" you can even get free straw this way. The bales are left on the field after the mission is done.
Why do missions if you 're gonna cheat ?? What's the point of that? That's just losing time. If you want money, just edit the xml file and done ... You can even own all the fields directly from the start that way ...
I also figured out that if you open the menu the timer will stop but courseplay will continue working and progress still moves so you can get an even bigger time bonus
Just a heads up: if using courseplay for missions the game will continue to pay the courseplay worker even after the mission has ended for the duration of the session. I did 30 missions in a row and was bleeding out $60,000 per hour afterward lol.
+Laurens Degroote yes, you can. When you get into plows and cultivators, sometimes you'll have issues with the speed if the tractor is on the small end of the hp range. And turning at the end of the field can be an issue too.

That's awesome ! I was onto using CP for missions, and also GPS once you learn how to make it turn at the ends of the fields, but this is way cool !

I have a 90' modded header that I use on missions. Just put it close to the field then start the mission and hook to it and leave the in game header

don't know if this works or not, i managed to make it go 20mph.. but it's not moving like fast as yours.
can u do this with all kind of stuff,like sowing or cultivating?
