what i like about your video's is that you dont have an insane long intro about telling who you are, what you gonna do etc. its simple, hi i am ian, this is a tutorial for (whatever), and done. nothing more or less. And no like subscribe bullshit at the end either. much much better than most youtubers screaming and begging for likes and subscribers.

If you use the "crop destruction" mod, I would suggest that your start and stop waypoint are close one to each other, or at least, on the same side of the field. That will save lot of your crops ;)
Also, make sure you have a powerfull tractor with a good traction, because the way FS2017 works while unloading make big "bump" of chaff and most of the truck/tractors arent able to run over it on the second pass...
Yesterday I was using the lizard Semi Truck and after 2 passes, I got the "driver is sliiping" warning...kind of annoying ;)

Yes, that would have been my question. I did a trial harvest to see how the unloading goes and it is very random, even if I do it myself. Got stuck even with the Challenger once or twice. And Courseplay only uses 4WD, don't know about diff. locks. So I plan on doing the unloading by myself with reversing to the end of the bunker and filling up from there, to the front. Not sure if that will work, as then I'll have to climb a huge mountain to start compacting it. I'm still thinking about the best unloading strategy. But I've set up my unloading courses to stop at the entrance and unload myself. So I don't have to setup 5 courses per field. Let's hope I can fill up the bunkers without too much trouble.

I got a suggestion for a tutorial.
I just bought at mine farm the Holmer Exxact Terra Variant 600 eco. Because it had a discount from 15%. Nice :)! I also bought the attachment-trailer Bergmann HT 50 Holmer. But now when mine fields are ready to harvest. I came to the painfull conclusion the Holmer Terra Variant didn't fit under the pipe from mine harvester. The Rostelmash Acros 595
Could you find out in a tutioral with harvesters is high enough to use the Holmer Exxact Terra Variant 600 eco. And maybe make the episode bigger tot see which attachments-trailers you could use for the Holmer Exxact Terra Variant 600 eco. And fit underneath the pip from which harvesters.

Hi Iain do you have any solutions for when the tractors line up after a turn in front of the forager thus meaning the trailer is not in the trigger area for the pipe. Every turn in the field I have same issue, so have to stop driver reverse a few meters then start driver again. I think it’s the direction the tractor is turning where he turns into the field and not away from it so he has to reverse back to the start of the row rather than drive into the area off the field and drive up behind the forager.
Apart from this and tractors spinning out on the routes I am liking courseplay . Need to watch rest of your videos to figure out more uses I can implement
Ive got courseplay installed and it shows up in my mods folder in game but when i want to load my saved game or try to start a new one it just stays at the loading screen loading and loading without beeing able to play. Anyone knows what to do?
After trying to load it when it doesn't work check out the log file and see what's causing the error
Hi, can you do it with 2 or 3 tippers? On a big field and if you have to drive far away, that would be usefull.

how do i get him to drive onthe right side of the forage harvester. my guy runs into the combine at the end of the field when the combine is turning around
You can change the side from the combine on the last tab on the left of courseplay.
my kipper will not unload whats the problem?

Great Tutorial. I would like a tutorial about crossing points.
For example linking together courses. From garage to field. seed field. then back to garage!

Excellent suggestion. I too have wondered about crossing points. Also, combining courses such as you describe. Finally, I don't believe you can edit a course without just redoing the entire thing... but would be nice to know how if that is possible.
An option that I like to use is to set up BGA bunker dump lines; so from BGA entry, drive thru a bunker and go to the BGA exit, save that course and repeat for each BGA bunker.
Then do a course from the field to the BGA, save it; then another course from the BGA back to the field. You have to make sure that the end of the field to BGA course isn't past the start of the BGA bunker dump and the end of the BGA bunker dump isn't past the start of the BGA to field course.
Once those are done then load multiple courses depending on what bunker that I want to empty into, just have to load the courses in the order you want the tractor to drive them, so #1 would be field to BGA, #2 what bunker to dump at BGA, #3 BGA back to field.
This way you don't have to build a separate course from the field to each BGA bunker and the BGA bunker dump courses can be used with any other field, just have to make the field to BGA and BGA to field course.
I should note that this works for me in FS15 and have yet to try it in FS17 (I am still running FS17 v1.3.0) but the course play interface looks the same so it should work.
I haven't tried it. IT seems like it could easily work with courseplay for fs17

I dont know if he still checks these, but mine keep saying, for all tippers/forage/ect, that theres is no combine in range, do you have to have way points in the field; and if so, how does this work when you need to sow or plow? wont they get in the way, or do you constantly have to move everything??
You can set which combine you want to unload manually.
Courseplay functions like hired worker and can buy seed, fertilizer etc
No Ian here is my problem. I have the path set outside the field so the tractor/tipper doesnt run into the combine as it is starting its run. but it says it cannot find the combine, are you saying that, you have to set your path in the field so the tractor knows which combine to go? or do I have to mess with it more?
recording the course so that it goes in the field is best. Sometimes courseplay won't be able to detect a combine if it is far away. In those cases, choosing which combine to unload is your best bet.
Does this method work with Beet and Potato Harvesters as well?

Tracey Sharpe after hours trying to work out what I was doing wrong I found that the tip trigger only works for chaff from corn . it doesn't work if you are trying to tip grass etc

Question- do you have a tutorial on setting up multiible tractors collecting chaff? I'm currently playing parkers prairie and the fields are massive. so im trying to keep the combine moving while other one is unloading. Any help would be great.
+Sean Teegardin you would just have multiple tractors on the unloading course. Just make sure that the tractors done run into each other

Thank you, been playing FS since 13 but first time using courseplay, your tutorials helped me out alot. Just a question? Can you have 2 or more tractors running the same course for the forage harvester? So when one is off to unload , another one takes over untill he is full and so on.

It worked like a charm. No worries I'm a carefull driver :D I'm only having issues with the tractors getting stuck in the silage. I've tried levelling, but I must be doing it wrong because I only make it worse. Any tips for leveling the silage?
Elkyblack Use a bigger tractor? Leveling is a bit more of an art now. It takes a bit of patience.

Into my game courseplay don't detected the tip trigger, i line up most as possible & have a few waypoints in the field but he does not unload the trailer. what's the problem?

Ok, So it works at the BGA plant, just not the bunker at the cows.
