Only Yamaha…. That’s why I love the CP2 engine, once you uncork it, the most glorious sound comes out. Had an MT07 with an Akra full exhaust and it sounded like this only a bit less bassy-er but man was it good! Top 5 on my best sounding engines for sure!
That sound EPIC! I own an MT07 with a custom pipe and it sounds no where close to as good as that R7. I've also heard MANY Akra's, M4's and so on, nothing has sounded as beefy as that Leo Vince. I am VERY impressed!
@@Daniel-dj7fh nope. Its a slip-on with a cat delete (link pipe) to the original headers. Cost on that was like a tenth of a full exhaust system. It was around $250. My MT07 is the OG 2014 so the cat was right by the muffler side, not by the headers like the new versions.
Why didn’t you do a silencer delete audio as well? I mean, it sounded wonderful with it…. But… I wanted to hear it without the silencer in! OC- dang good exhaust! Gave me chills
Sounds awesome and amazing I've ridden small and big bikes for 30 years recently got my hands on a 15 yamaha r3 for a steal lol, fun bike once I installed a full leo vince it's now a little monster and a blast to ride. Leo Vince makes excellent exhaust they don't get enough credit.
Don't worry Chase I'm not one of those people that skips to the end. I have nothing else to do at work so I let your videos play out in the background lol
I put a full Toce exhaust on mine without the db killer and it sounds absolutely amazing. It may not be the fastest bike out there, but I'm more than satisfied.
I just wish Leo Vince would update their logo. It's probably one of the most god awful logos I've ever seen and makes it look like some Ali-express knockoff. Sounds nice though.
I've seen an R7 with a turbo kit installed. It more than doubled the HP. This would be the bike I'd consider due to being perfect for boost. There are kits specifically for this bike, the XSR700, and MT-07. They just handle boost so well, per professionals.
@@101BadBreath Uhhh...Stephen. (Sniff) No one mentioned or thought about "weiners", but yourself. We're talking about bikes and boost, my friend. So, stop worrying about "weiners" please, especially other men's "weiners." Smh. Sheesh. TF? 🥴
You mean for a PARALLEL twin. It's because it's a 270 deg crossplane crank, so it sounds much like a v-twin. Otherwise parallel twins sound like shit imho. Older V-twin sportbikes like Superhawks, RC51s, TL1000S/Rs, and all the older Ducatis all sound incredible.
This bike sounds a whole lot meatier without that baffle and cat on their exhaust. I hope Leo Vince still sells a catless version like I have on my Ninja 300. At the time of the 300, Leo Vince made the highest dyno-proven horsepower, was the lightest weight full-exhaust, was one of the best sounding, and unquestionably the best value among several brands for that bike. I got my full exhaust for about the price of a Yoshimura muffler only! It breathed so much better, the bike had to be tuned. Power gains were realized in mid to upper rpms. I highly recommend heat-wrapping the exhaust for hotter exhaust gasses (better scavenging at lower rpms), noticeably more low and mid-range torque (and flames too!). Also very slight sound dampening canceling any 'tinny' or pinging exhaust sounds bouncing off header pipes. The 300 is very deep sounding, and quite loud. I haven't had a single issue with rust or reliability in all the years of owning the bike.
As good as that exhaust sounds. I still like the Toce Exhaust I have on my MT07 more, which should be the same for the R7. I do really like the color scheme on that bike for sure. Good Vid man!
Today, Chase learns that 270 degree P-Twins sound fucking mean when you replace the factory exhaust. lol Ghost has been running my Honda NC700 exhaust in the quickshifter for a few weeks now, and that was with the Dan Moto XG-1 slip on. That bike is stupid fucking loud with that pipe on there.
Would this exhaust work on a 2023 r7 since theyre same motor? I just got one and its a toss up between m4 and this. Scproject is too loud and akra doesnt sound good to me. Yoshi and stock to quiet.
Nah, the SC Project exhaust slaps all the other ones imo and when it comes to the aesthetics, the S1 specifically just looks so damn good too Also, Chase, and I know you generally don't care and I'm not saying this to be an "weeeell akshully 🤓" smart ass, but the "Vince" in Leo Vince is pronounced "Vin-shay"
Idk i really like the MotoGP shorty pipe look from stock like if Leo Vince makes a shorty pipe version for the R7 like take my credit card and my first born
Still doesn't sound as good (or go as good lol) as a 25 year old Superhawk. Still, I get that the brakes and suspension stock for stock are probably night and day. And I saw the 60th anniv. in person yesterday at a dealer I had to stop at for my job and it's stunning in person. And the fact that 3 different guys who work there own one (like the guys who worked at the dealer who I bought my first Superhawk from back in the day all owned one lol) says something. Couldn't justify spending $10k on one but it's nice.
My brother in Christ… Leo VINCE? My guy please pronounce it properly, I know it’s not a huge deal and I’m not usually one to even comment on things like that but this one got me 😂
Sounds great Chase!! People don’t realize the sound from videos don’t do it any real justice. Wait til you hear these in person! He needs a tune now!
It's so crazy that almost every motorcycle brand are making the bikes quieter... taking all the fun out of it, this one is a good one to look for
On a positive side it lets us have fun getting different exhausts to modify the sound
It's mostly about regulations🫠
@@chaseontwowheelsis the exhaust system you installed there legal in germany. Does ist have a cut insinde the pipe or is it straight piped?

i'd always choose that cp2 engine sound vs an inline 4 any day. love the muscle car vibes it gives

Can confirm. It wasn't cheap but the result transformed the bike and it made it so much more enjoyable to ride 🎉🤌🏽
Try the Kawasaki Ninja 650 with the Yoshimura Alpha full system exhaust!! Thing sounds EPYC for a 2 cylinder!

Best one I’ve heard that doesn’t make it sound like a dirt bike
Do you have too flash the ecu since it’s a full exhaust? Just asking because I think the air to fuel ratio will be off
