Well I never really wanted to play stardew valley but I am very weak to adorable witches doing adorable witches' things and pixel art, so I guess I will try this one out
This is a very cute game, I've seen several youtubers play this (at least what was available to play) The opening cut scene/tutorial did seem to go on for a while, but it was ok. I am drawn to the style and theme of this.
Game is ok, but storage is an issue. Also, if you leave mats on the ground and leave the game, they will despawn. Consider the floor as temp storage at best.
I seem to remember another game coming that was supposed to be like stardew Valley with magic can anyone help with the name like chucklefish or concord ape were gonna make it
I wish I could play this on Xbox.. I know it is on Xbox Game Pass and yes I have it downloaded and tried to play it.. It very laggy and plays at 10 FPS.. I don't know why a single player 16 bit game lags so hard.. Well, besides being extremely poorly optimized.. I am a few hours in, so I gave it a decent try considering the slideshow framerate and 1 second lag in a single player, 16 bit pixel art game.. I am going to wait for the game to update (hopefully very soon) on Xbox before trying to play again.. ==Minor Spoilers ahead== For reference towards progress, I already rescued fox child.. I have made the potion to purge the vines on the carpenter's house, but Gaga Bird is blocking path in lake area.. I need to make the Earmuff potion to get by it.. At least, I am assuming it is what I need.. I bought all the recipes off the Witches Catalogue and the Butterfly Net.. At least, all that is available at my part of the game..
steam demo on this was kindof boring, and on rails, albeit super cute. I wonder what shape its in now. the chalk thing, quill, and nap/energy meter wasn't in the game at that point iirc. Harvesting seems much more involved.

Yeah the unedited video was about 45 minutes long. Early game has a lot of dialogue and tutorial. Which is fine for someone playing the game on their own time. But for a yt video trying to consider everyone's viewing habits, I had to cut corners. I think at 20 minutes into the unedited vid I had woken up to find the train gone so virtually had shown 0 gameplay still. But if I do another, I think we're at the point the game opens up. Cheers
At least it's not Renryuu Ascension great game with final fantasy style gameplay in terms of turn-based battles and random encounters however it would take hours there's even online guides and walkthroughs I have downloaded the last time I played it it was still in development and by development I mean more content they keep adding more it is free to play but like I said takes a long time I suppose that is also another aspect that is similar to final fantasy games much like some of the games you show it does have mature content
