I love how there's so much to talk about and the first thing mark points out "IS THAT WOODY FROM TOY STORY?!"
And I'm pretty sure he's actually wrong- It feels like a more distinctly video game history reference. To me, it looks like Stan from the Monkey Island series, an infamously sleazy salesman type, known in the original game to run a used ship dealership, and similarly unscrupulous businesses in the rest of the games. He seems like he's licking his chops at the prospect of all the rubes he can access through the internet, albeit for this company's profit.

Harvest moon was a game that me and my brother would play, and we would determine who was better at the game. My brother died last year and recently I started up his game and he named his farmer after me. Now I think I am going to move on and play this game, Naming my farmer after him for old times sake.

A lot of guys make fun of women for playing this game, and I'm always reluctant to tell people I play it in case they tell me I'm not a "real gamer" or whatever. I had no idea Markiplier played this, and it makes me feel a lot better that he has. Seeing a guy play stardew valley just makes me feel better? I'm not sure lol. I'm probably being sentimental for nothing lol.

This game is too good. I binge played for over 80 hours and cannot count how many times I cried. So grateful my siblings told me about this game. I'm a new person since I met my Edge Lord husband. I hope Mark returns back to this game.

Why is this me when I first played Stardew Valley XD and I put farming as my favorite thing...
Glad to sea I'm not the only one who sucks at fishing, and what's more frustrating is so many bundles at the community center require fish
The only real way to improve it is practice unfortunately; anchovies off the dock or chub in the lakes and rivers; once you can, get the fiberglass fishing rod. Once that's obsolete get the iridium rod and check what bobbers/lures will improve the fishing bar or bite rate.
There's a learning curve to each fish you can hook; once you start recognizing them you get better at predicting movement to catch them.
You get better the more you practice. Trust me, I was so frustrated that I almost gave up on fishing completely. I couldn't catch ANYTHING for the first half a year. You DO get better the more you do it, I promise.
Fun fact: this is also the only fishing mechanic I've ever seen where you can get OUT of practice if you stop doing it for too long. Which is funny. I stopped playing for ages (not cause I stopped enjoying it, I was just playing other games) and now I'm worse at fishing again.
God.... If you think fishing is hard do you have any idea how long it took me to get a friggin duck feather? You have to get a coop, upgrade it twice, buy a duck, wait for it to grow, and duck feathers are pretty dang rare so I have to wait 2 months once I did all that. XD
