  • You have limited shop space and no dedicated place for the PC? Me neither, and that's why i built this 3 axis paralell motion linkage swiveling rotating notbook stand, which can conveniently swivel out of the wayand store the PC underneath the CNC.
    The PrintNC is a high performance, DIY CNC router. It's based on a steel frame to ensure rigidity and uses 3D printed parts to make assembly easy.
    The PrintNC project is in active development and community participation is highly encouraged! You can live chat on the PrintNC Discord or head to r/printnc and ask there. Answers are fast and the community is quickly growing!

    Wow. Nothing done “half-way” in your shop! I love the thoughtfulness I see throughout your design and build process.

    Lol ... dass ich nicht lache, du hast doch kein limitierten Platz für deine Maschinen. Diese riesen Garage ... ein Luxus gegenüber meiner 5x3m Popelgarage ;)

    Always amazed with everything you build. Been dreaming about building my own PrintNC cnc machine. I was thinking about buying a Onefinity X50 journeyman. But in lots of reasearch and reading, I think the PrintNC might be better for milling aluminum. Sure looks like the PrintNC might be one of the most precision machines, Due to its rectangular steel construction, and linear railways. Always enjoy your sense of humor. Thank you for sharing your projects. P.s. The little cutout for your usb cable in the control panel, Looks like it needs a custom snap in piece out of aluminum with your C.L. logo. Peace out man.

      Thanks for the kind words Todd!
      I am also curious about the cutting capacity in aluminium. Once my 2.2kW.spindle.is mounted, we'll find out

    can you explain the electronics for your machine? how to use Ethernet? is it possible if it's from wifi?

    • @ChristophLehner
      @ChristophLehner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No wifi is not possible, but it is also not as reliable as ethernet:

    don't hold onto something you're about to part from the lathe, use an alen wrench or something with a right angle, it can snap your finger like nothing. IK IK its a smol lathe, but bad habits stick.

    • @ChristophLehner
      @ChristophLehner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is it really possible?
      I've seem many people handle it that way...
      But thanks for the advice 💯
      will try to leave my.fingers out there.

    Seems like a bad idea to put the e-stop there. What if you need it and the tray is tucked away? Maybe a secondary redundant e-stop somewhere easily accessible?
    Oh, and get another laptop, one with rear facing connectors. You could do a sliding docking system and your life will be much more easier (go to DIY Perks if you need some inspiration on that).

    • @ChristophLehner
      @ChristophLehner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you need the tray swung out to operate the machine, so if the machine is live, the tray is also there
