Sorry for your own loss Stephen. Yes it’s hard, so so hard, the hardest thing we’ll ever have to face in life. I really wish you well in your own solo travels too. It does get easier as we adapt.
It was nice to see the glass of Thwaites (I'm from Blackburn) it reminded me of a saying my brother said, 'Thwaites for mates, Duttons for gluttons, and if tha can drink Lion's, tha can tame 'em'
Hi Christina, it is definitely getting easier as my general confidence is growing again and I'm finding out who I am now as a solo woman getting out there in my van. As long as I'm not plonked in the middle of the room amongst everybody I can manage it ok 😊
Did look busy when you pulled up, glad it emptied at the night time. Been years since ive been to Glasson Dock, love that area! Showing off those lovely tarmaced tracks! What a great 12 mile stretch! What a lovely Deli! Half a pint for Brian! Wow, the food looks incredible! Lovely area, thanks for taking us back there 👍
It was a great little pub stop, just lacking in a choice of real ales! Lovely bike ride/walking route. I love Glasson Dock but it’s the first time I’ve stayed it the van. Doubt it’ll be the last 😊👍🏻
Glorious weather for you on this trip! A lovely area for a cycle ride. I was salivating in that smokehouse 😍 Geez! You did well clearing that plate in the pub 😜 Many, many, congratulations on your very well deserved 3K ❤️ Onwards! 🚐
Looks a lovely place to visit, the Smokehouse looked great lots of tempting things in there by the look of it! Looks a nice pub and meal too. Lovely footage as always ❤ All the best, David & Rachel 👍
What a lovely place for a stopover Sue. I haven't ventured to this part of the UK before, it looks very quiet and peaceful, and you seemed to have enjoyed yourself Sue. I'm not a big fan of crowds and tourists but this looks ideal for a overnight trip so I have now added Glasson Dock to my list of places to stay. Thanks Sue 👍
Hi Sue Glasson Dock looked so good and I think you said it opened in 1787 wow. The Bikers cafe looked nice where you had your coffee , so many bikes ! Loved your pub park up for the night and at least there was only one other van :) Loved your bike trip , we love cycling so much . That millennium bridge was lovely . You got a nice stash of food from the farmshop smokery place too. The pub meal looked delicious and I loved the church , it seemed so peaceful near the harbour . Great place , thanks for the lovely tour and until next time onward! 😃 ~ Anna
You get the use out of that electric bike - not a fad so a great purchase for you by the looks. Good to see real experience on pub recommend actions lol 😂 Well done for getting out there …. Great watch
The bike has definitely been a great addition to my van travels and at that price Im determined to get my use out of it haha. Seriously though I love being out on the bike, always have done. I think a few more pub stop reviews might be in order over the next few colder, darker months 😃👍🏻. Thanks for watching. Take care both 😊

It’s a forever thing now to always have a half of whatever he would have had before I order my own drink when I’m out in the van and having a drink. Funny what we start to do isn’t it, but these things just feel so natural now. Take good care 😊❤️
@@CamperVanya I saw that video a few months back when I 'found' you! 😀 I re-watched it over the weekend when I had a friend from Norway come to visit - I was telling her that many years ago myself and my then partner Desmond walked from Dolgellau to Barmouth along the abandoned railway track (now a beautiful walking and cycling route) and then the year after I moved to Belfast to be with Patrick I returned to England and walked the route again but from Barmouth this time. Hi Sue, found your channel through Keith and Daryl's channel, Campervan Tales. I enjoyed your video very much. I subscribed within a minute into this video. I wish you great joy and success in your adventures in life and in Vanya! Cheers!
Hi Micky thanks so much for subscribing and your lovely supportive comment. I love Daryl & Keith’s channel they were one of the first I subscribed to. Best wishes, Sue 😊
@@CamperVanya I’m looking forward to watching more of your content. I enjoy your self-deprecating wit! I’m over across the pond in America. I was fortunate enough to have visited your country back in 1997. And I loved every bit of your country. So, finding Daryl and Keith’s channel and now yours is such a treat. I’ve watched others from the UK, but Campervan Tales has captured my viewing heart. Now yours as well. All my best to you! Cheers!!
@@mickylawless1941 I think the self-depracating wit might by the Lancashire Lass in me! Hope you get to re-visit the country some time. I haven't been across the pond yet but there are many places there I hope to visit at some point. I hope you continue to enjoy the content of this channel, its been a steep learning curve! Thanks again & best wishes 😊👍
Lol, I always go through the puddles, but that's just me... looks like a great place to visit, maybe one day ha ha.. great dinner too.. wow.. take care Sue xx

We really do Donny. We’ll never run out of places to explore in our beautiful country 👍🏻 x
No spare chins needed here, we’ve got enough to donate to charity!!
Smokehouse looks reet tasty.
Pub grub, beer and sleeping in a carpark sounds perfect 👌🏼
It was a cracker and one I’d wanted to try for a while. Damn chins, I just can’t give them away 😂😂
@@CamperVanya at least yours aren’t exaggerated by stubble (Sarah’s too) 😉
@@Professionalmoochers Not yet they’re not .. 🤣
Hi Sue. Like your new specs. Try not to sit on them.🙂🙂🙂
Thanks Graham. I’ll try my best not to but going off past experiences … 🫤
Great little vlog,
Living not far from there (barrowford) I've never heard of the little village, so now it's on my list 👌
Have you any "campervanya" stickers?
It’s worth a visit some time for sure. Yes I have stickers. If you want to PM me an address I’ll send one out (I’m on FB, Twitter & Insta) 😊👍🏻
6ea great vibes mste
Cheers! 😊👍🏻
Hi, what's the track called the starts 4mins in?
Hi there, it’s ‘Salt Lake Seagull’ by Chris Shards. Thanks for watching 😊👍
Looked like a lovely pub stop....did think it looked rather crowded when you pulled in.
Nice little cycle ride too. I do like the way you show the route on the maps 👍😊
I was just wondering if you had room to squeeze a Campervan Gaz sticker on your fridge 🤔
Cheers 😊
A really great little pub stop this one. I’ve always space for a Campervan Gaz sticker! but I used to have a PO Box address form sticker swaps and don’t have that anymore. 🫤
You like finding these precarious cycling tracks don’t you 😃looks a loverly place 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Appogies for sending you the message twice, not sure why it does that, my first message always fails so I send it again hence why you get 2 😂
That happens to me a lot on Instagram. So many gremlins in these apps haha.
