I want to talk about Colony Ridge, the illegal alien housing settlement right here in Texas. We briefly mentioned it yesterday after the Republican Party of Texas unanimously called on the legislature to take action to shut it down.
But if you haven’t seen any of those stories, it’s worth learning about because this is happening right here in Texas. Right outside a major metropolitan area. And so far, nothing is being done about it.
Liberty County, just North of Houston, is home to the fastest-growing Hispanic population in the country and one of the fastest-growing school districts in Texas. In 2020, the Colony Ridge settlement included approximately 20,000 residents and now includes an estimated 75,000.
Colony Ridge is known for its dealings and associations with Gulf and Sinaloa cartels. In 2013, 300 acres of Liberty County lands were used to host the “largest and most sophisticated marijuana-growing operation” in U.S. history. The area broke another record in July 2021, when the Drug Enforcement Administration raided a multimillion-dollar methamphetamine manufacturing lab in Colony Ridge.
Terrenos Houston, the marketing program for Colony Ridge, advertises to illegal aliens by indicating they do not require traditional bank loans, nor do they need Social Security numbers or a proven job history. Instead, they operate through owner-financed lots for illegal aliens who don’t qualify for certain loans.
These are called ITIN loans, because you don’t need a social security number, you just need an inidividual tax identification number, which anyone can get.
The company is particularly active on international media platforms and produces marketing videos in Spanish, promoting incentives like discounts and video tours of their new schools.
Such a massive influx of children has created the need for more schools, with the land development company building six for Cleveland Independent School District thus far.
Their enrollment, by the way, has increased from 6,584 students to 12,400 over the course of four years.
Which is putting a major strain on the area and the citizens who call it home.
And then there is the crime.
According to an investigation by the Daily Wire, there is limited law enforcement presence in the area. Additionally, the Gulf and Sinaloa cartels have reportedly purchased land in the development to set up safe houses.
And just today we have a report on the local school district warning parents of recent fentanyl overdoses by students in the district.
Some have compared the development to a colonia, which the Texas Attorney General defines as “substandard housing developments, often found along the Texas-Mexico border; where residents lack basic services such as drinking water, sewage treatment, and paved roads.”
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Attorney General Ken Paxton have both been asked about this in recent interviews, with both saying it’s something the legislature may act on.
But will they have the opportunity?
That depends on Gov. Greg Abbott.
Any moment now, and I really mean any moment, the governor is expected to announce a special session of the legislature. These can only be on issues he chooses. Should he choose to do so, he could add legislation to crack down on ITIN loans to the call. That’s his choice.
In any case, until something is done, not only will Colony Ridge keep expanding. But the next illegal alien settlement could be coming to your own backyard.

Speaking of special sessions, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility is asking the governor to add the elimination of property taxes to a special session call.
In a letter to Gov. Abbott, the group writes:
As a part of your reelection campaign, while participating in the gubernatorial debate in September of 2022, you stated: “My goal is to eliminate the school property tax that’s imposed in the State of Texas, so that people can genuinely own their own home, without being taxed out of it.”
You also expressed support for a pathway to school Maintenance and Operations property tax elimination when you officially included it in your original second special session call, issued on June 27th of this year.”
While the legislature did meet earlier this summer for 2 special sessions on property tax relief, ultimately only $12 billion was put towards that plan, even though the state faced a surplus of over $31 billion.
Texans for Fiscal Responsibility also asked Governor Abbott to also include spending limitations on local governments and the abolition of taxpayer-funded lobbying on the special session call.
Fine…they will be easy to find when deportation begins!
Exactly! President Trump vowed to deport illegals when re-elected.
'Prosper' sounds like Carmel, Indiana. No! School districts shouldn't use taxpayer money!
Abbott will do nothing! He’s the quintessential RINO.
*Abbott is all hat and no cattle.*
Allegedly taking campaign contributions from the developer of colony ridge
then go & vote DEMOCRAT again !@@blackrifle6736
Sure he isn't he got paid from Harris the co founder 1.5 million
His biggest campaign contributors own/develop colony ridge.
Glenn Beck just made a documentary *The Real Story of Colony Ridge* and he announced it on the PBD Podcast yesterday!
I live in Colony Ridge but I moved in after liberty county required deed restrictions for the entire block i live on...The federal government is going to overrule any attempt to ban ITIN loans thats not the answer...the answer is minimum building standards for all residential property itll drive out most of the people who are living in tents and shipping containers and because texas would require this for all unincorporated areas it would be legal under the "equal and uniform" standard of the Texas Constitution
There aren’t building standards in colony ridge already?
Subscribing and watching this YT channel should be mandatory to vote in Texas.

I went Bar sixth crazy when our school district spent $400k on new curtains for the stage at the auditorium. This was more than the building cost when constructed. Of the three taxes we pay, the county is the cheapest followed by the city but the school tax is more than the combination of the previous two. Efforts to reel in property tax has limited the amount per $100 dollars of value but when the tax accessor simply raises the value of the property
To compensate what good does a rate limit or decrease have? Nothing. Pray you make it to retirement and get the rate lowered and frozen. It's a scam and property owner are taking on the chin. What is worse now that the value of the houses are so ridiculous new home buyers are being shafted.
👍
@@steveladner4346 To segue into a conclusion abOut home building and builders, if I may. Some parts of Texas this week experienced some baseball sized hail. Lots of roofs and car were damaged. How many cars got hail damage sitting in front of their houses with multiple car garages? Why? Because the garages have been turned to shops and all of our crap is in there. Why? Because builders are not building houses which fit the needs of the buyers. We need more storage and we need shop space in order to have our tools to maintain our homes and our cars. And they are not doing it. We are bEing charged a premium price for new homes because of two types of greed actually three. The appraisals are far too high. The builders and the realtors love it and they make gold by flipping houses. And the mortgage companies love it because their bottom line is fat fat fat. In the meantime people who have fallen through the cracks are forced to rent home owned by BlackRock and others like them. If you are not lucky you are on the streets or by some beat up van or and head out West and find a spot to exist on government land. These poor kids paying premium for an education, credit card debt through the roof, new car payments. House payments. I worked and payed my way though collage 1976 with the help of a single mom. Wages are better than they have ever been it all the other people who have their hand in your pocket demanding their pounds of flesh. It is enough to bring you to tears.
.....and the Massive School and Stadium of C.E. King High School doubling our property taxes etc. etc,
As to footing the cost, I'll leave it to Prosper taxpayers to decide. We've got a 600 million package for us here in Saginaw Texas. The current consensus is NO.
Greg Abbott's Texas. GOP Texas does this. 28 goddamn years.
I wouldn't put it past the GOP to have cheated to get Abbott nominated. I don't know a soul that nominated him. Everyone voted for West or that millionaire.
Is this the community that Abbott has financial ties to?
The developer has been a GOP contributor.
@@russellriggan2088 $1.4 million to Abbott
The answer to part is quit funding schooling for those in thr country illegally
‼️ The only logical reason for such extreme and expensive school building is greed! Follow the money 🦆
It's HUGE I love right down the road from it. It spans New Caney to Cleveland. The roads are congested, it's rediculous.
Sell your home right now and move, before it is too late.
Wow.......I moved back to this area just recently because another area I was in stated getting over run........ holy shit this is mind blowing, especially knowing the history of these lands more north.....I'm in shock
First saw this on warroom..
HEB ISD's 2023 Bond Election will be held on November 7, 2023. There will be two propositions, together totaling $997.3 million.
No meskins in Missouri......they have NEVER offered social services in anything but English...
Lol, I was a native Texan that moved to Southern Missouri. No regrets.
@@glartmaxWe are looking into Ozark, MO from Houston. I hate it here more than words can describe.
Future slums.
Texas should have started taxing developers 30 years ago.
75 thousand wow just imagine these people in the Houston traffic glad they live over there
Get rid of this place, NOW!!!
That's horrible! What is Abbott doing about it?
He will do nothing he got 100k from the wife of the owner & 500k from the owner if i understood correctly.
He probably sent a strongly worded letter...
Abbot receives $800,000 per year from the group that is building the illegal settlements. He is scum
Ita moving to tisd, what is happening now?
Shut it down and send them where??
District 9
GOV. ABBOTT GIVE THE MONEY BACK YOU GOT FROM THE OWNERS OF THIS COLONEY RIDGE!! NOT A GOOD LOOK GOV.!!!
They're building a cartel company town(plantation) and the kids are more or less human shields.
Where is this, please?
@@tanyaflynn4908 Outside Houston, reread the video description.
@jyndev4570 so scary! I met where the person was referring to where the kids are used as human shields. I tried to Google it, but I wanted to ask to verify. 💕
@@tanyaflynn4908 Just to clarify - what I mean by 'human shields' is - the presence of children will cause any law enforcement inclined to act, to be extract cautious, probably to the point of being ineffective.
At the same time any organized protest will be vilified as the children are trotted out as props. Meanwhile - its all an illusion.
The nearest parallel I can draw is this is a most likely a cartel Theresienstadt.
Damn I just got some land there. But I’m here legally
No!
Abbott will take care of it…once the developers stop giving him political contributions of more than a few dollars 👀
Hubby says they'll pack that stadium, he'd know better than I.
No! These football stadiums are huge boondoggles.
If they can pay for themselves through revenue bonds, okay. But, not through school property taxes!
I live by here, and it's a real shit hole.
Imagine you purchased a home in a nice, quite town to raise your family in. Suddenly, this cesspool of a development company begins attracting property buyers who gravitate toward crime and have no respect for law, neighbors, or each other.
Crime over runs your town, and you have murders, rapes, gunfire, loud music, and graffiti everywhere. Starving animals are dumped and roam the streets, petty crime doesn't even get reported because law enforcement won't respond. You can't let your daughter walk down to her friend's house for fear of her being kidnapped or raped.
Because this is what happened, and shit like this is pouring northward into the interior of the US- and it may soon be your town.
Understand what you are voting for, folks...
Sounds like reverse-gentrification if that's a thing
That’s what you get when your government preaches less regulation and letting the free market rule. It’s funny, those impoverished foreigners could easily be republicans…
The whole entire region northeast of Houston is destroyed. From Humble to Cleveland to Huffman down to North Houston, now reminds me of a giant mud hole. All those country roads that you thought you could live a nice quiet life with a little acreage with woods around are no more. All the forests are cleared out to the last stick to put in a Colony Ridge or another huge subdivision of cookie cutter beige colored homes with the sun beating down on them. If you want a nice quiet piece of acreage with woods around, you'll have to move way away from the Houston area.
I live in Colony Ridge. I'm illegal and I would like to thank Israel who made this illegal border crossing possible.
THIS IS EXACTLY RIGHT
Now we know where to go to get the good s***
Hay lobos…
Show us a map, please.
