Kaz is a legend that will remain with the sport forever. PS: The Icelandic people probably respects the older generation not just because they're older, but for instance Kaz competed against Jon Pall, that's not something anyone can do..

Kaz would have gotten much more than 3 WSM titles if he would have been allowed to compete.

Best modern strongman, id say hes tied with big z, best of all time, its gotta be louis cyr(strongest man of all time with no drugs or hormones) then paul anderson, then those two
When Bill breaks down the weights the early guys did with their body weight it blurs the pound for pound strongest man ever after Halthor and Brians dimensions are given. Bills's 3 bench max total was a W.R. for a very long time. He has to be in the very small goup of strongest ever.
Mine would be jon pall he was an athlete not just a strong man,big z,kaz obviously shaw coz no one can deny him of what he did and id say hafthor kid has alot of potential not that old for a strong man id say he can break alot of records in the coming years
It's difficult to measure over time the Strongest Man in the World. You have your peak years, so they come and go. The Strong Men today weigh much more and are taller with modern training methods and supplements, including Drugs legal and Illegal. Anderson and Hepburn if they were at their peak today with today's modern training and supplements would be untouchable.
Most of his records have been expunged since he had no witnesses for the lifts other than himself and his uncle. His famous back lift was also removed since he had no evidence to support it. Dude was still probably the strongest guy of his time but he also stretched the truth a bit.
According to former International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness chairman Ben Weider, the strongest man ever to have lived Louis Cyr from Montreal Canada.
Jon pall had a 2300 total in powerlifting, he had a bench press of 600 lb, according to kaz sigmarssons bench was only 480? Seen him say this on an interview yes kaz is definitely the stronger in powerlifting, but get your research right, saying jon pall wasn't that strong as he stated in an interview, that's just an asinine thing to say

@@littlethuggie yes, we are older guys now, so we let some of our stories out a bit more freely now that we are not living them so much, like in 2nd Hand Lions. He did a ton of things that had never been done before, but if you met him in person, you could see what a great guy he is if you are a good guy.
He gets a lot of props from the new guys, but he does have an unfortunate penchant for telling woulda, coulda, shoulda stories. Like 'I could've had an 800lb raw bench if I was a bench specialist' - Don Reinhoudt could've had a 1100 lb raw squat if he was a squat specialist. It doesn't add to the sport by making claims like that - which are not even true by any reasonable standard.
And stronger steraroids now let's not forget that I'm a huge fan of strongman but it's not just nutrition, supplements they are all on roids but you still have to put the work in and they obviously train ridiculously hard
Yes, but his real competitors had not peaked yet (Shaw and Z) Even Phil Phister beat him and he wasn't "great" he just had a great competition and beat M.P also, there were 2 years where M.P should have won but let victory slide through his fingers.

Deep respect for Bill, but at the time of this interview, as a fellow athlete in his 60’s, I think his breathing looks rather labored, he looks very stiff, and his health looks generally poor. The years of heavy lifting have taken a great toll.

True what you say about needing Christ as savior, however, our society is just a repeat of many societies, down throughout the ages, who let the antichrist Zionists destroy us...Read the Bible book of Titus. Much of the destruction that you think belongs to the end of the world happened in 70 AD to Jerusalem because of their killing of Jesus and the prophets.
Nice....but when one weighs in at over 300#....of course they can do what they do. Size equates to mass, which equates for larger, bigger, more muscles to recruit and do more work. Size is everything in "strong man competition"....When someone hits 6'-5" and weighs in at 400# with 15% body fat...they will be the strongest, etc. Who cares? Does this get one into Heaven? What does....?? Ohhhhhhhwwww...It's Jesus Christ. Now this......is impressive!!!!

Best modern strongman, id say hes tied with big z, best of all time, its gotta be louis cyr(strongest man of all time with no drugs or hormones) then paul anderson, then those two
How tall are u guys
Gakul Howlader Tyler in the dark shirt is about 6’6” and I’m 6’3” (in the red shirt)
@@Massenomics u guys ar huge,
People mention Big Z's 4 wsm titles but they forget that he also won 8 Arnold classics.
And two IFSA WSM titles that were arguably higher level than the normal WSM titles for those years. I for one consider Big Z to be the 6x WSM winner.
You take Kaz and put him into the knowledge and training today. He'd be the strongest of them all.
KAZ. The WSM all World Strongest Men want to be !
kaz the man !!
What about Brad Castleberry ??
Powerlifting is as much a developed skill as it is strength
No respect for Paul Anderson , wow .
who?
By Kaz for the best American lifter before him .
Most of his records have been expunged since he had no witnesses for the lifts other than himself and his uncle. His famous back lift was also removed since he had no evidence to support it. Dude was still probably the strongest guy of his time but he also stretched the truth a bit.
paul anderson was stronger than all them
Paul Anderson the king
According to former International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness chairman Ben Weider, the strongest man ever to have lived Louis Cyr from Montreal Canada.
agred no blood doping then no steriods no cheating
If Kaz had today's training techniques and technology, his body would have exploded.
Well said bill.
Jujimufu on the camera @4:00
Bill cazmaier um dos melhores junto com jon paull sou brasileiro e adimiro o talento deles.im memoriam jon pall o Escocês ,ganharan mais um inscrito por essa entrevista
The strongest ego ever is definitely Kaz. All he freaking does in every video interview is say how great he was or makes excuses for not doing more.
not close to true and makes you sound very insecure to say that...
Cool story. @@chtomlin
@Scott Grudziadz I doubt it dumb*ss
Paul Anderson
Mariusz hands down still best all time
Lol no
Bill's arm when they shook hands!😱
Paul Anderson is the all time Strongest man in the world
That would be Louis Cyr.
Paul anderson the king
Mariusz was probably the most athletic of all time...but Z and Kaz were the strongest of their time.
walk it like you talk it - original way to say it
PAUL ANDERSON. #1 ALWAYS AND FOREVER
Kaz the Best Strong man ever.
And stronger steraroids now let's not forget that I'm a huge fan of strongman but it's not just nutrition, supplements they are all on roids but you still have to put the work in and they obviously train ridiculously hard
Kaz the man
Paul Anderson was/is the strongest. He accomplishèd God's love to many.
What?!
Wonderfull man paul the king and a true man with the love if christ
Mariusz Pudzianowski 5 Times World Strongest Man
Yup and he has beaten Z many times and also beat Brian Shaw.
but they didn't block him from competing like they did Kaz, who still won it 3 times as a hobby sideline event.
Yes, but his real competitors had not peaked yet (Shaw and Z) Even Phil Phister beat him and he wasn't "great" he just had a great competition and beat M.P also, there were 2 years where M.P should have won but let victory slide through his fingers.
@@mikesbbody Pudzian was dominant in WSM while Savickas was with the IFSA, and couldn't compete in the WSM. what could they both compete in at the same time? The Arnold. and Zydrunas won 6 years in a row, along with other IFSA guys placing high while Pudzian never had a podium finish at the Arnold, and he lost to Zydrunas after Z came back from the IFSA.
At no point in time was Pudzian the strongest man in the world
Deep respect for Bill, but at the time of this interview, as a fellow athlete in his 60’s, I think his breathing looks rather labored, he looks very stiff, and his health looks generally poor. The years of heavy lifting have taken a great toll.
He didn't mention Mariusz? Funny how he said Pudzianowski is the Goat.
Bill Kazmaier in my opinion is the all-time world's strongest man
Paul Anderson was the strongest man who ever lived.
no steroid superhuman strength...
What happened to Kazmaier's biceps ?? They melted
PCP??? You sure about that Kaz? If that's the reason these guys are so strong, then I may start a drug rehab program staring PCP. I'll be CRAZY STRONG! lol
PCP?? these guys take angel dust for recovery.
jon paul sigmundson is the best
That's what it's all aboot!
If Mr. Kazmaier says it,it's gospel to me!
Jon Pall Sigmarsson = Number 1
Bill is s legend
I am surprised HE STILL STANDING. WITH THE DAMAGE HES DONE. HE IS BIG DUDE. I WONDER IF HE KNOW GOD AS HIS FATHER.JESUS AS LORD FILLED WITH SPIRIT. HE HAS CLASS FROM MANS STANDARD.. I HOPE HE IS TRULY READY TO MEET GOD. WE MAY NOT 20 YEARS DISTRESS OF ALL NATIONS. WARS TERISISM GLOBAL COLAPSE. A PORN SOCIETY THAT WILL BRING JUDGEMENT OF GOD.
U DDnt Nvr GOE tA SKEW DIDYA
the great war will begin soon
True what you say about needing Christ as savior, however, our society is just a repeat of many societies, down throughout the ages, who let the antichrist Zionists destroy us...Read the Bible book of Titus. Much of the destruction that you think belongs to the end of the world happened in 70 AD to Jerusalem because of their killing of Jesus and the prophets.
Arghhhhhh VHHHPT
Z
Shaw
Kaz
Pudzianowski
Sigmusson
Gerrit Badenhorst took your powerlifting total record and you don't even mention him..little disrespectfull...
@Scott Grudziadz you can watch youtube videos and reply in the comments section but you cant google wiki...........
Louis Cyr.
ZYDRUNAS SAVICKAS AKA STRONGEST MAN WHO EVER LIVED
Nice....but when one weighs in at over 300#....of course they can do what they do. Size equates to mass, which equates for larger, bigger, more muscles to recruit and do more work.
Size is everything in "strong man competition"....When someone hits 6'-5" and weighs in at 400# with 15% body fat...they will be the strongest, etc. Who cares?
Does this get one into Heaven? What does....?? Ohhhhhhhwwww...It's Jesus Christ. Now this......is impressive!!!!
