What a great idea. I have been having problems flooding cookies with a piping bag because my hand is too shaky. What worked best for me was a 4 second consistency. How long does it take for your cookies to dry to the point you can place a stencil on top of it or glue a wafer paper picture it them, etc. (i.e., good and hard topping)? Thanks again for sharing - this has opened a door to a whole new way of doing things. Hugs
I find that dipping is a better method than lining and filling. Lining and filling with royal icing is time consuming and usually results in a layer which can be too thick and unenjoyable to eat because it can be too sweet and dominate the flavours of the biscuit base. This method makes a beautifully smooth and neat layer which is much thinner and more enjoyable to eat with the cookie as well as less time consuming!
You have no idea how you have changed my life with this tutorial! From the bottom of my heart, thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! This is so helpful ❤
Thank you! Very helpful! Appreciate that you show how to adjust to imperfections.
Thank you for making the video-I’m a visual learner!
Thank you so much for sharing! I dip but I am not as quick as you and now I understand where I need to adjust.

It that took a dental tool?
Do you dip all sorts of shapes or just simple ones like round?
I dip all shapes!
Does the icing roll over the edge if there’s too much once it levels out?
What is the name of that machine and can you share the link. Where I can purchase it from
Dental vibrator didn’t work for me. I just don’t overmix it and let royal sit for a while and it’s fine.
