- Some folks have requested "How to video" of the Death Factory. It's been much delayed.
Had couple of setbacks. rebuilt the factory twice, because the first recording turned out corrupted. But..... I've finally got it done!! 😊

A wonderful Early game factory, great for that early boost to resources.
You didn't say why you took the Human Meat off the conveyor.
You should mention that it's because they won't fit into the machines, and will clog things up.
You don't get the XP unless you kill them yourself. Using separate switches to release 2-3 at a time you can kill & also gain the XP (& kill count if you care), but it does cost ammo that way.
Myself I build at Jamaica Plains, but I NEVER release the Gunners from their cages.
That would just eliminate the BAIT from the trap that is Jamaica Plains Legendary Farm. 😇
Gunners have better gear = +$
They also can have Legendaries when you show up in person to liberate the Bait.
Much more Lucrative overall, although it does require personal fighting and some levels for survivability.
Since your Deathfarm does not, it's a FAR better early game build.
The Real trick for a Legendary farm is to connect ALL the Defenses through a Siren (so only Powered Turrets).
The Defense is then OFF, until someone shows up and attacks, and then a setter (or you) turns it on.
Pow, pow, pow. Attack over, they turn it off.
The low DEF makes the settlement an 'easy target' to them, and the cages mean you will get Mostly Gunners (who usually have the best gear/loot).
I took the meat because i didn't want to wait basically. Plus the amount of times I had to re-record this and rebuild it because of corrupt recording..
i put in ton of time just making this video, which turned out little blurry😔 So some parts might seemed rushed... even putting text on video was struggle😅
i've build a hand full of versions of this factory I didn't use Gunner because they drop legendries, they take longer to kill.. 😑
my factories are made just to kill and count heads.. and jokes aside. My Main Death factory is literally made with the thought of what would the Nazi's have built if in fo4

@@Invad3rDiz Yup, it about what you are trying to farm.
This wasn't an XP farm. It's a loot/resource farm. 😁
@@Modhunter42 like all the factories have same basis. Use cages to spawn NPC, count them. And after that yoy can choose to scrap them or make ammo, weapons etc.

@@Invad3rDiz Cool. Just remember Cages don't get you Legendaries , it's the attacking Gunners/Raiders/etc that can be. The full cages are just bait.

Manufacturing + the manufacturing extended mod is so much fun, I spent about 4 hours making a fully automated multi ammo farm that redistributes left over items as the recipe for ammo changes slightly for each type.
This is a really cool idea, and I hope you keep up the content

I'm actually uploading a video at this moment.. actually have 2 ready to go. But I'm having issues yt is playing it so choppy and blurry. But on my pc it plays smooth as hell. And quality is really good.. so I'm trying to figure this out

Hey man i appreciate that... if you liked that but havent seen the main factory You should see the main death factory.. this is just a small version based of a larger one.😅🤭
I highly recommend Workshop plus. You can freeze time, fly, increase speed, be undetectable and invulnerable while in workshop mode.

A+!, the Death Factory is fun. Mine cycles the Workshop right back through the Death Factory by using the Vacuum Hopper to pull from the Workshop.
😄😄 ahhh sweet I'm glad toy tried it out. It's a great resource for supplying your settlements. Plus it makes factories just that bit more interesting 😏

@@OleDirtyMacSanchez hehe ahh yes back then I hated using tons of mods. And literally just used the factory mods.. and realized that most of them are on Xbox.. but some are just very outdated.😑

not many people still use the workshop DLC, this is pretty neat! farming humans for their stuff, ya know whose does that? raiders. lol irony? here in the waste everybody is a raider in someways or another! n e rate- last thing I build was an arena with a wall down the middle. a deathclaw cage on one side and few those gunner cages on the other side. when I "catch something" I release both "contestants" and open the gate in the middle, the winner gets to roam free in my settlement (this includes the deathclaw as a contestant too)
😁🤭heyy Ranger.. I know right😅 I like the idea of raiders being used like this.. we don't waste in the wasteland😌 I'm not sure if it was your video. Or other channel I saw someone build a really cool Arena that gave me some neat ideas for a build, if you have a vid I won't mind checking it out☺️
@@Invad3rDiz probably wasnt me lol dont have much videos and in fallout only doing "modded play throughs, showing settlement tours- or oh so many many challenges I put out. lol but also my skyrim paladin playthrou and different minecraft series cause that was a thing once lol
Man, I thought I was the only sick SOB that tried something like this. lol.
I set up a smaller version of this in Abernathy, behind where the brahmin pen is. I had an elevated cage, the raiders stepped out and dropped down onto a conveyor belt that was surrounded by the clear glass panels. It fed into the auto-butcher and a couple of other things I've forgotten.
My issue is I couldn't automate anything. I tried to hook the power up to a timer so it would automatically release the traps every 24(maybe 12) hours. It works...if you stay on the settlement. The timers don't work once you leave.
Anyway, it ended up being way too much manual work. I wish I could assign an NPC to do it. I'm sure Cate would have no issues manning the contraptions.
i enjoy making factories. when you start building on different levels, figuring out how you want things to run is sort of my fav part. and ofc then watching everything run smooth
Awesome build, I just wish we where able to turn these Raiders into Potted Human/Raider! BTW I love the sound of the Auto Butcher 😆

Is it possible to do a simple version or any kind of death factory without mods? I love the modding community but I really wanna try a vanilla playthrough and still employ this method into it 😅

Ahh I see you commented a few times on the video before😊 where you mentioned the Xp farm you built😅
I'm not entirely sure what mods are available for console if it's on console that you are playing. But basically the only mod you will need is a mod that allows you to recycle bodies or basically recycle anything. Otherwise you would end up with a Huge stack of corpses.. and have take each item from the bodies. And recycle it that way

yeah Some folks are having issues the factory having some outdated mods. sadly im also waiting for them to update some of the particular mods i use,

hi! I am on Xbox Series X, and this may be due to Bugthesda releasing the Next-Gen Update which broke like every mod. I'm not seeing Nodas Equipment Recycler in the modlist; is this possible without the mod?
Possible as in, can i build the same thing just either without that or through an alternative method?
you can def Make a Exp Factory without mods. but yes you will need some sort of Equipment recycler mod or such to really take it to the next step and im not to sure if they are available on Xbox or Ps sadly.
otherwise without mods you will have to do a lot of looting by hand. plus end up with PILES of corpses
Absolutely great for farming bones for oil. Going to attempt this soon. Great! Is it compatible to build with non modded (only DLC) game?

Can I build this underground cause I have automatron DLC and have a underground work bench area will this work underground
😊I'm not entirely sure. by underground do you mean the Mechanist lair?
basically, I'm not to sure that cages can be build underground, especially in the mechanist lair. but I'm sure there are mods that allow use all building assets in the Mechanist lair.
Could you add a resource list in the description please it would be very helpful for preparing the build!

also i want to note" the factory doesn't have to be built to the exact specs, its just a basic layout on how to setup the factory..😊
@@Invad3rDiz sure that will be great I would very much appreciate it, and yes I understand that it doesn’t have to be exact but I’m not a very skilled settlement builder so I just plan on replicating your build so that way I can make it work for me!
@@soasilverback5481 ahh i understand.. how i learned the basics of factories was from a channel i would highly recommend that would be @SkooledZone he makes great guide on the basics of the factories.. and other channel @jayveeeee he has a good basic guide on how manufacturing works..

yeah man, i only used these cages coz i was going for raiders, but yes any cages will do😅

Sadly i have no idea if there are, but i know Console version are very restrictive with mods

Could you be able to build this design on Spectacle Island and post the blueprint to Nexus mods?
To be honest. I have a ton of things I need to get done.. and that still needs finishing, at the moment I'm really focused on a other project that I need to get up and running.. so I truly can't make any promises
Plus it already has a blueprint.. you could loud it up.. and use workshop plus to make a portable blueprint.. something I've never ever tried.. so I would be clueless on how to do that

I'm so sorry I wasn't notified of the comment🤕 it is possible to build something like this without mods. But you won't be able to autobutcher enemies. For that I use a mod.
I usually use 3 Manufacturering mods.

personally i hate it playing with it. making factories is soo redundant, not to mention how glitchy everything is and underdeveloped.
Like i hate how copper just rolls at times and how some things just fall off/clip of the convey belt .
I have how one can't able multiple machines on the same network without it been a mesh to configure.
😂Ahh the copper i know exactly what you mean. there are few objects that just disagrees with Conveyor belts 🤭
the engine wasn't meant for factories like these, so understandably you can run into some issues.
also i have to mention this is just a small version and how to video, of my Actual Death Factory, that factory is a beast...id recommend checking that out if you haven't.
I love this build, do you have an estimated materials list ? I'm planning on building it without cheats
☺well i appreciate that, I'm not entirely sure if I'm honest how much materials i used. but do note i did use one or two mods that makes it cable to create factory like this.

Yeah i always use Place anywhere, its a must if you want to build without so many restrictions i'd say 😅

I'm having a problem with the sorters. They teleport my guns up in the air.
Usually that happens with some of the sorters. It does that sometimes I find deleting that sorter and placing a new one can fix that bug. But not always
I might be wrong but I saw a comment earlier asking how this makes so many components not sure if it was by you. But it recycles everything of the raiders for the components
@@Invad3rDiz I tried deleting them and placing new ones but it didnt fix it.
@@W1ndm1l Sadly it doesnt always fix the issue its just one of those bugs i don't really have a fix other than that, sadly alot of the mods are outdated man

Do you know if they patched positioning the parts? It makes me leave a good foot or 2 gap between belts, so I'm not able to do what I want.
i'm not entirely sure man, i've not played games in months tbh, but i use place anywhere to be able to do that

that would be PlaceAnywhere mod, that allows you to clip objects and place anywhere you like😅
