This is the best Teela ever released imo, just for the head sculpt! And fyi, the training robot does articulate, but should have come with a clear stand.

@@Themanchlid Sorry your robot doesn't articulate, mine does. I'd contact Msttel and see if they will replace it. The articulation makes up for the lack of a stand, kind of.

The only part swapping that works best with this Teela is the Origins Teela and Zoar two pack as far as skin tones between figures.

Wish I knew this line was coming out earlier last year before I bought my Teela lol. She’s great. Beautiful head sculpt. I’m actually really digging these cartoon figures. I didn't mind the cartoon He-man head. But a few other people didn't like it either. So far, Cartoon Teela and cartoon Trap-jaw look the best in this line in in my opinion 👌

I was slightly disappointed that they didn’t overhaul the entire buck like they did with the males… BUT, you’ll be the one who might be able to answer this: is it possible that her thighs are just a little thicker than the vintage style??? Those always bothered me that they were very thin. If u ever get a chance to compare… I thought in your review I could notice it. Would be a subtle improvement! Cheers and keep up the good work! 👍

But areas like the neck and the hips do look slightly different. It's not a complete change like the cartoon male figures. But it's a bit different. However, I expected a whole new body design.

And I really like the face sculpt on the original Origins Teela, so I’m having a hard time deciding which one I prefer. (I was never a fan of the way her “vintage” face looked.) I didn’t realize her “armor” could be removed. The one criticism I might have, and not even sure I can call it a criticism, is that she does look a bit tiny compared to her male counterparts. Despite that, she’s a great figure, can’t wait to pick it up!

Even know this is the cartoon collection, I am impressed with certain sculpts on these figures as they are still Part of the Origins line and share simular asthetics. I would of coarse expect those kind of details in Classics or even Masterverse face sculpts first. But this cartoon line has been really cool with details in the sculpts. I thought this Teela would have a newer body like the Cartoon male figures got now. But it looks like they just used the Regular Origins female buck from what I can see. I would have preferred a little larger female buck. However you can mix and match parts good with other Origins Teela Figures. Overall I think she looks good and I'm ok with what we got as far as a Cartoon Teela Figure. Evil lyn has also been announced for later this year!

The Snake Armor was something that was added to the vintage Teela and also was the original concept design for the toys and storyline going back to the comics and the German audio books. The cartoon came out shortly after the toy line was released to help market the brand. But of course, the animation character designs were more simplified to look more kid friendly and appealing as well as easier to draw for animation time and costs. I never understood as a kid why the He-man Toys looked somewhat different from the cartoon character designs. But now I get it 40 years later! I think it's so cool that the Masterverse of the Universe brand is so big for the collectors now, such as Origins and Masterverse. I also think it's awesome that the Origins line has gone as it did and now given us those cartoon characters that look close to the animation, but with the vintage style mixed asthetics. Also, the battle robot Teela comes with articulates in the arms. Mine was stuck But I fixed it!👌

I thought the newer female cartoon Teela was gonna be larger from the early images I saw. But the body is basically a regular female origin buck. So yeah, I can see some POP characters coming down the line with this same body in the cartoon line. Thanks for watching 👍

I really love this Teela. She looks awesome...Haven't opened her yet but probably will shortly. Yeah as far as the training robot I don't like the fact they didn't include a little stand for it. Have to either drill a small hole in the bottom of it and make a stand to hold it up. Or what I'll probably do is tie some clear fishing line around each robot arm and have it floating in front of her maybe? I shouldn't have to do Mattel's work but I digress. Lol
This is one of the nicest looking Teela Figures, yet as far as a Head sculpt design. She looks very close to the cartoon. Yeah, I used a clean Stand with a piece of double stick tape, and I just sat the robot on top. It makes no sense that it doesn't already have a hole in it with a clear cheap stand to make it look like it's floating. Drilling a small hole in the bottom is easy enough and then make a cheap stand!👌
@@Themanchlid Yeah that's what I was thinking as far as the stand goes. Her head sculpt is really good. I may open her up when I get back home in several days (out of town working) then do a video with my thoughts on her. Thinking on a thumbnail now that will look catchy enough.

Thanks for watching! I guess anything is possible with a little custom work. That sword is really gummy at the tip, so I don't know if that could work. Also, the robot arms are supposed to articulate. Mine are stuck.
Mine is ordered, I think she's shipped. I'm removing her armor when I get her. Unfortunately I don't have the skill to make her topless like I've seen some people do.
Congrats on your Filmation Teela figure being shipped. Hopefully, you get her soon. The bare chest is nothing special with the armor off. It's just painted from what I can see. You would have to do some major custom work and details to make it bare. I'm good with the armor on. That's how I always see Teela going back to nastalgia. I'm a sucker for Teela. I have the original with the Cobra motif, I have the long ponytail version, I have the Blonde Teela, I have the new Origins version, I have the pretty long haired Revelations version, I have the Revelations Sorceress Teela, and I have this one coming. I actually use most of them as Theymiscyra Amazon's! I'm an almost 30 year Collector and I have a pretty big collection. Unfortunately, there are other guys with 4 or 5 times even mine.
@BladeStar-uq6xe Good to know. I have also been collecting for about 29 years now. I have all the origins, classics, and Masterverse Versions of Teela. She definitely is a fan favorite. There is nothing wrong with changing or customization of certain figures if it can be done and you want something different.
I also have a few Evil Lyn, but those are more recent. I never went for the yellow. I started Collecting April 2nd, 1994. So in 1 month I'll officially be at 30 years. I'm mostly a Marvel Collector, and Joe's, but I will get just about anything. I get Dinosaurs sometimes for a Savage Land, I have 4 different He-Man and I don't use any of them as He-Man. I'll buy MOTU, Turtles, whatever I think I can use.
@BladeStar-uq6xe I also have godzilla and various dinosaur figures from papo and schleich. I mix a bunch of stuff together. I have reviewed most of the Origins Turtles of Grayskull figures so far. I think they are really cool!
I also just leave everything as it is on each figure. But I'm surprised how many people like to change parts and customize these figures or just like to see the possibilities!
@@Themanchlid For sure. I do that too with the vintage line Origins, but I won't do that with Filmation, or if they did 200x. Plus the buck style is a little bigger. Looks funny mixed. ha ha

But it's just a typical female Origins body with a few differences like the neck. But they just reused the Origins Teela boots again.
The Teela is different than previous versions because she has new legs with thicker thighs and she actually has the indentation of a butt crack. The males definitely have more of a noticeable change for sure
@exodus1214 Thanks for checking out the review. Yeah the Teela and new Evil-Lyn do have some differences in those areas. It wasn't that noticeable when I was looking at them through the camera and lights at first. But later, I took a better look and saw the newer sculpts. However, it really doesn't stand out as much as the males, as you mentioned.

Thanks for stopping in to check out the review! The Cartoon Teela uses the Regular Female Origins body parts for the most part. But there are some slight differences in the neck and butt area from what I see.
So far, all of these Cartoon Teela Figure reviews (while I'm still waiting for my pre-order to be fulfilled in MAY, BTW), haven't answered my one question, because the only Origins figure I'm EVER buying is this one: a) because it's really the only good looking Origins figure, and b) I intend to pluck the head right off of it, and replace my Filmation Teela Classics headsculot with it. I just want to see how that will look from these Cartoon Teela reviews, but everyone's so caught up in swapping parts, making these Origins figures look even MORE stupid, because considering how the skin tones NEVER match, it is single handedly the DUMBEST reason to buy any of these Origins figures. You can swap, and swap, and SWAP all the live long day until the chicken eggs hatch into baby dumplings, and it doesn't even get you anything remotely COOLER. I guess I'll have to wait until mine arrives in the mail, or I get lucky and find one in my reluctant-to-stock local stores. Even if the headswap doesn't work with my Filmation Classics Teela, I'll keep her and leave the second one I ordered in the box, because it looks great as is, even if it won't scale with what I DO collect. It'll just have to be the one 'Chibi' figure I have on the shelf. Fantasy Island Edition Teela. "DE PLANE, ADAM! DE PLANE!!!"
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. I never picked up the Filmation Classics Teela from super7. I have all the Regular Classics in card and only about 30 Classics club grayskull figures. I heard so many complaints about that Filmation Teela head. But again, I don't have het in hand. And even if I did. I don't think I would swap head parts with and Origins to a Classics figure. That Cartoon Teela head isn't gonna fit the Ball Peg right anyway from what I seen with Origins and Club greyskull figures. But with putty it can still be done. I swap some parts time to time with stuff iny collection. But not the way I show that stuff in reviews with what parts I have available at the time. The parts swapping are usually requests in the comments or my Instagram I get and asked to try once I get a certain figure in hand before the review. Somethings I just do to see what works.
The revelation haters are going to hate that comic it comes with because there’s no he-man in it, only teela, they need he-man in every single scene or they go crazy and complain Everything is woke.

I never picked up the Super7 Cartoon Teela Figure. I think those Club greyskull figures have different ball pegs from the Origins female figures.

I really love this Teela. She looks awesome...Haven't opened her yet but probably will shortly. Yeah as far as the training robot I don't like the fact they didn't include a little stand for it. Have to either drill a small hole in the bottom of it and make a stand to hold it up. Or what I'll probably do is tie some clear fishing line around each robot arm and have it floating in front of her maybe? I shouldn't have to do Mattel's work but I digress. Lol
This is one of the nicest looking Teela Figures, yet as far as a Head sculpt design. She looks very close to the cartoon. Yeah, I used a clean Stand with a piece of double stick tape, and I just sat the robot on top. It makes no sense that it doesn't already have a hole in it with a clear cheap stand to make it look like it's floating. Drilling a small hole in the bottom is easy enough and then make a cheap stand!👌
@@Themanchlid Yeah that's what I was thinking as far as the stand goes. Her head sculpt is really good. I may open her up when I get back home in several days (out of town working) then do a video with my thoughts on her. Thinking on a thumbnail now that will look catchy enough.
@BamaTony73 You should definitely open this figure up for display and maybe review your own opinion on her! It's always interesting to listen to other people's reactions or reviews on certain figures that have a lot of other positive feedback.
Can't wait to get Teela, Trapjaw and Skeletor. Just got Man-at-arms in. Awesome figure.

Thanks for watching! I guess anything is possible with a little custom work. That sword is really gummy at the tip, so I don't know if that could work. Also, the robot arms are supposed to articulate. Mine are stuck.
Mine is ordered, I think she's shipped. I'm removing her armor when I get her. Unfortunately I don't have the skill to make her topless like I've seen some people do.
Congrats on your Filmation Teela figure being shipped. Hopefully, you get her soon. The bare chest is nothing special with the armor off. It's just painted from what I can see. You would have to do some major custom work and details to make it bare. I'm good with the armor on. That's how I always see Teela going back to nastalgia. I'm a sucker for Teela. I have the original with the Cobra motif, I have the long ponytail version, I have the Blonde Teela, I have the new Origins version, I have the pretty long haired Revelations version, I have the Revelations Sorceress Teela, and I have this one coming. I actually use most of them as Theymiscyra Amazon's! I'm an almost 30 year Collector and I have a pretty big collection. Unfortunately, there are other guys with 4 or 5 times even mine.
@BladeStar-uq6xe Good to know. I have also been collecting for about 29 years now. I have all the origins, classics, and Masterverse Versions of Teela. She definitely is a fan favorite. There is nothing wrong with changing or customization of certain figures if it can be done and you want something different.
I also have a few Evil Lyn, but those are more recent. I never went for the yellow. I started Collecting April 2nd, 1994. So in 1 month I'll officially be at 30 years. I'm mostly a Marvel Collector, and Joe's, but I will get just about anything. I get Dinosaurs sometimes for a Savage Land, I have 4 different He-Man and I don't use any of them as He-Man. I'll buy MOTU, Turtles, whatever I think I can use.
@BladeStar-uq6xe I also have godzilla and various dinosaur figures from papo and schleich. I mix a bunch of stuff together. I have reviewed most of the Origins Turtles of Grayskull figures so far. I think they are really cool!

I won't swap Filmation with vintage, or other versions. I leave Filmation as it is, but that is just me.
I also just leave everything as it is on each figure. But I'm surprised how many people like to change parts and customize these figures or just like to see the possibilities!
@@Themanchlid For sure. I do that too with the vintage line Origins, but I won't do that with Filmation, or if they did 200x. Plus the buck style is a little bigger. Looks funny mixed. ha ha

Thanks for checking the review out! She definitely has one of the best face sculpts in the Origins line for female figures. I thought they added some other features and a different body. But it's just a typical female Origins body with a few differences like the neck. But they just reused the Origins Teela boots again.

The Teela is different than previous versions because she has new legs with thicker thighs and she actually has the indentation of a butt crack. The males definitely have more of a noticeable change for sure
@exodus1214 Thanks for checking out the review. Yeah the Teela and new Evil-Lyn do have some differences in those areas. It wasn't that noticeable when I was looking at them through the camera and lights at first. But later, I took a better look and saw the newer sculpts. However, it really doesn't stand out as much as the males, as you mentioned.

I think he is a fantastic Origins Snake figure, and you can make some cool Customs between him and Whiplash lie I showed in that review. I also like the filmation Skeletor figure. I like Squeeze a little better!
I wonder why Filmation Teela has a Butt but Origins Teela Doesn't.
Thanks for stopping in to check out the review! The Cartoon Teela uses the Regular Female Origins body parts for the most part. But there are some slight differences in the neck and butt area from what I see.
So far, all of these Cartoon Teela Figure reviews (while I'm still waiting for my pre-order to be fulfilled in MAY, BTW), haven't answered my one question, because the only Origins figure I'm EVER buying is this one: a) because it's really the only good looking Origins figure, and b) I intend to pluck the head right off of it, and replace my Filmation Teela Classics headsculot with it. I just want to see how that will look from these Cartoon Teela reviews, but everyone's so caught up in swapping parts, making these Origins figures look even MORE stupid, because considering how the skin tones NEVER match, it is single handedly the DUMBEST reason to buy any of these Origins figures. You can swap, and swap, and SWAP all the live long day until the chicken eggs hatch into baby dumplings, and it doesn't even get you anything remotely COOLER. I guess I'll have to wait until mine arrives in the mail, or I get lucky and find one in my reluctant-to-stock local stores. Even if the headswap doesn't work with my Filmation Classics Teela, I'll keep her and leave the second one I ordered in the box, because it looks great as is, even if it won't scale with what I DO collect. It'll just have to be the one 'Chibi' figure I have on the shelf. Fantasy Island Edition Teela. "DE PLANE, ADAM! DE PLANE!!!"
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. I never picked up the Filmation Classics Teela from super7. I have all the Regular Classics in card and only about 30 Classics club grayskull figures. I heard so many complaints about that Filmation Teela head. But again, I don't have het in hand. And even if I did. I don't think I would swap head parts with and Origins to a Classics figure. That Cartoon Teela head isn't gonna fit the Ball Peg right anyway from what I seen with Origins and Club greyskull figures. But with putty it can still be done. I swap some parts time to time with stuff iny collection. But not the way I show that stuff in reviews with what parts I have available at the time. The parts swapping are usually requests in the comments or my Instagram I get and asked to try once I get a certain figure in hand before the review. Somethings I just do to see what works.
The revelation haters are going to hate that comic it comes with because there’s no he-man in it, only teela, they need he-man in every single scene or they go crazy and complain Everything is woke.
