I,ve always loved the sound of the Burns Marvin Guitars they have that lovely nasel sound, to be honest I think there far superior than the Fender Strats . I play a Burns Marvin bass guitar the best bass guitar I've ever played I use it when I'm playing with the band and on the session work I do, I bought it brand new in 2007 its still sounding just as good as it did then. This was the first electric guitar I heard live in 1974. Been listening to The Ventures and others beforehand. Sounds totally awesome. Was looking for sound clips of the Marvin Burns on TH-cam and landed here. Maybe I will buy one sometime. May I ask what mic configuration was used in this clip? I know the delay is an important part of the sound, but it was really spot on with the right twang. String gauge? Thanks!
@@selby16 No amp, just straight into desk here with little Boss delay and wah wah. Little reverb. But this video isn't my normal sound but just an experiment. Cheers
