Indeed I could be more clear. To save the settings you have to push and hold the throttle “collective” trim down until the red light stops blinking - stays solid red.
@@AndrejSturm... See, this is the kinda stuff that falls in the class..."You don't know what you don't know, but it would be nice if you did"...Like buying Microsoft or Amazon stock when they were IPO's....Nobody, I mean Nobody on TH-cam or even the Instruction book mentions this lil tip...Thanks dude, Thanks...Don't have the heli yet, but still nice to know...👍👍😊😊
Andrej, I fly since 30 Years "mode-1" therefore I switched this Transmitter to mode1 too. I was anxious tho use your hint / trick on a Throttle right TX. I tried and it worked well! BUT: some has to use the RIGHT vertical trimbutton....
Thats not what down trim does, its for turning off and on optical flow. Has nothing to do with setting trims. When you turned it off and on , you were in optical flow.
wonderful I liked it a lot! Do you think it is possible to install a flysky receiver and control? Is it possible to install a higher quality esc? I'm a little suspicious of the quality of the stock electronics... thanks for sharing
Hi. It is not possible to use a different receiver in this helicopter unfortunately. The stock ESC works just fine, it's just the flight controller that has some issues on some of these helicopters.
So are you happy with this Heli now? I so want to order one. Actually I did order one and Cancelled after seeing several Fly-Away and Takeoff Rocket Launch reports and videos. 😮
Honestly I don't know. But mine now flies well, no matter which controller I use ... I've had a flyaway issue on my first flight but never again since then, I hope it stays this way.
I notice you didnt hit you take off button . you pulled down on you sticks down away and then it troddled up and push on the left stick. mine you have to hit the take off button . why did your work that way?
I think maybe recalibrating is done to give helicopter a baseline reference to "level", and then you fly and trim from there but then if you save the trims and go to recalibrate before next flight you will have to retrim because each time you recal it resets to baseline which will usually need considerable trimming from there but if you save like in the video then you should not need to recal before next flights unless maybe you crash and jar it enought to need to recal.
Thanks a lot but I don’t see how you saved the trims at 1:50 😊

Tried this with the TX for my C129v2 and it worked, didn't need it but it worked (probably work for other models) . FYI

Ich habe nicht richtig gesehen, wie gespeichert wird.
Danke für eure Antworten. 😊
If u use the transmitter with another heli, it won’t matter, right? Because the settings are saved in the heli and not the radio?
You are correct.
Thanks Andrej..I programmed both of my 500's after watching your video.
like your tx16 radio if I put the External Module on do I have to upgrade software or will it be ok to use it the way it is
Andrej, will I lose them if the radio and or the Heli batteries are removed?
How did you find that out😅very nice!
Thank You AGAIN, Andrej; what an accomplishment❤
Thanks for the video, can we put the remote control in mode 1

Not all RC Era models, even if the same type have optical flow. If it isn't equipped with optical flow this locks it in steady hover.
Good video. Saved for later reference.
Nice! Thanks ;)
Why does my heli get a mind of its own and takes off immediately to the right and smashes itself into the ground? I think it hates me😢

That will be incredibly useful 👍
Thanks Andrej
Good job.Thank you Mr Sturm.Great heli
Thank you too!
Thanks!. I will try this to my RC Eras c159 and c186....maybe works too!.
Excellent feature, thank you so much for sharing
Very welcome
I am so jealous of your tail motor mod. I’m exhausted looking for parts to do the same.

Can you experiment with adding green and red Led nav lights?
Maybe I will …
Nice tips !
Thank you!
No problem!
Dank u broeder Wim voor de duidelijke uitleg,in de naam van Jezus Christus.
Thanks very much
You are welcome
Hi, do you know how to reset to factory settings?
it will do a long Beep in the middle neutral or factory setting.
@@Tobi-82what? That doesn’t tell me how to reset it
Can we change to mode 1 ? Thank you
Yes
Does this stop the flyaways this Heli does? Mine flew away twice so I don’t fly it anymore

I think what this does is recenter the servos.
Does this work with era c187 ec135 version tx i have the upgraded one?
I don’t know as I don’t own that heli.
it does on c187 tried it
I try to C138 and it works, thanks
Many thanks.
No more "fly aways"?
No more fly aways with my MD500 😃
Recalibrating it works just as well to
