The all time best place we visited in Nairobi was the Giraffe Centre and we had an amazing time! Apart from the browsing area--where visitors could feed the giraffes and give them some kisses (at your own risk!)--Giraffe Centre also has an information centre, a nature sanctuary, tea house and a gift shop.
This is a place we would recommend to anyone visiting Nairobi! Spend an afternoon here and you will not be disappointed :D :D #LOLGOkenya #giraffecenter #kenya #nairobi

The Giraffe Centre is the creation of the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (A.F.E.W. Kenya), a Kenyan non-profit organisation. Our main purpose is to educate Kenyan school children and youth on their country’s wildlife and environment, as well as give local and international visitors an opportunity to come into close contact with the world’s tallest species, the giraffe.

Very forgettable. Center undergoing renovations. $15 usd/person for feeding 3 giraffes with 1 cup of feed. Took less than 15 minutes. Extremely Underwhelmed
Thats sad to hear. It was wonderful when we were there. Hopefully after the renovations it will be even better. Sounds like you were unlucky with the timing of your visit. Very sorry to hear that. 😔
