That was really simple and painless. I just finished doing it and it took maybe 15 mins. I didn’t have a torque wrench small enough for the pegs so tomorrow I’m gonna ride it to the hardware store and get one and hopefully it’ll rattle it all out and I can retighten. Thanks guys! Awesome product!
Oh man, I wish I knew these were coming. They look like they fit so much easier than your first set. It's a hassle every time I have to take them off.

Los he instalado en mi T7 y han quedado perfectos, también con el crack trasero. Además protege el tubo de escape. Muy buen material. Estoy muy satisfecho. Genial.
Why was the crossbar repositioned? The new position does not look like it will work with my tail tidy. I liked that the other position was somewhat tucked up and out of the way. The passenger peg bracket and washers with the cutouts sound like a point of failure. Have you all found that not to be an issue? I see others have trouble taking the racks on and off. I like strength over the quick and easy removal. I have also removed the passenger pegs from my T7. Do you see any issues with that? I am not worried if I need to get different screws, for the length difference. I am a big fan of your work. I hope my questions do not come off as rude.
Thanks for your comment. We’ve heard of some tail tidy brands not being compatible with the previous version pannier racks. It’s hard to keep up with all of them. We just focus on the OEM rear fender. Most of our pannier racks feature the same hook type brackets and aluminum spacers with the cutouts. No issues with it in the past year or so. Removing the passenger foot pegs will not cause any problems either.
@@Outbackmotortek Thank you for the response. Would there be an option to purchase original crossbar with the vertical bend? I definitely understand the issue with not being able to work with other aftermarket products. Just the way it is. You all make an outstanding product, that is what counts the most. Thank you
Infamously Unknown the thing is that the pannier racks 2.0 are about 10cm lower down compared the first edition pannier racks. Using the cross brace from 1.0 with 2.0 would not be feasible. It could interfere with the rear fender and/or the rear tire. It’s likely that you’d need to custom mod the rear cross brace should it be necessary for your tail tidy Thanks for the compliments!
Have the rack with an X-Frame, and I’m a bit confused how the X Frame fits to the rack? Perhaps it will make more sense when I actually have my bike? The four silver “blocks” that are contoured to fit the bar rack...these have a bolt provided that goes through them but no nut to secure it? At best the frame is friction fitted to the rack? I want to attach a Rotopax to the outside of the frame (asymmetric rack) which is easy enough but I don’t see how the frame attaches to the rack; where it wouldn’t slide across the rack or potentially come off if I hit a bump seeing it’s only friction fitted?
What is the tube thickneses? And what is the inner length and hight the frame? Thank you I bought second hand panniers but don’t have racks for T7. Thank you
These racks seem to sit lower than the previous installation video are they a new redesign or can you still purchase the original higher mounting system.
Please try to confirm if your great skid plate for the Triumph Tiger 900 GT/Rally is compatible with Triumph OEM crash bars; thanks; it would be fantastic as most Tiger 900 GT/Rally already have installed Triumph OEM crash bars.
We'll try to confirm ASAP but we suspect that many Tiger owners will get rid of the OEM crash bars due to the fact that they're just a mere decoration.
Outback Motortek : Thanks; great news; i understand your point. I think that a lot of riders will only replace them when they will broke. Before that, to have at least your solid skid plate would be great.
I wish yamaha would do away with that high exhaust, too allow pannier racks to be slimmer. imo the majority of racks with aluminum boxes make the tenere look super wide and pain to lane split
Yes, but you’ll end up with a massive gap between the rack and the exhaust can. We received our HP Corse high exhaust and we’ll be working on making specific racks for it.
@@Outbackmotortek you guys are amazing!! I'll proceed with not cancelling my order on the hp course high exhaust then ahahah looking forward to get that new one!!

Hi, can you please tell me the length in mm of those 4x steel spacers?
So the Asymmetrical pannier racks are the same just closer to bike - narrower width, correct?
Correct. It’s closer to the plastic panel on the non-exhaust side.

Does the rotopax still fit inside the pannier on the non exhaust side?
Yes, as long as it’s the symmetrical version pannier racks
These racks seem to sit lower than the previous installation video are they a new redesign or can you still purchase the original higher mounting system.
Yes, these are lower vs. the discontinued 1.0 version pannier racks
Any reason why discontinued the old version I like and prefer the higher version
What panniers are these compatible with or are these just to be used as soft luggage supports?
Is this Pannier rack compatible with Yamaha's T7 OEM back rack?
No, it’s not compatible. We make our own rear rack that’s compatible with the pannier racks

How does the cross brace fit with a tail tidy
We’ve tested it with Camel ADV and it’s compatible
I wish yamaha would do away with that high exhaust, too allow pannier racks to be slimmer. imo the majority of racks with aluminum boxes make the tenere look super wide and pain to lane split
Are these steel tubing or aluminum like tail rack?
Steel tubing

Glad I waited for asymetric. What is the width? Thanks
54cm but we’ll share the exact measurements shortly
Hi Michael, pls help me understand why the asymmetric may be better than the symmetric. Will it not cause an imbalance? Thanks.
