I use the ENDURISTAN BLIZZARD SADDLE BAGS in "L" plus a Tornado 2 in "L" for my gear. I have the wide belts under my seat so that I can lift my single seat without removing the soft bags. Same idea as yours. I started without any rack but had difficulties to fix the soft bags well enough. Now with a tiny Italian made rack "Arnold Minimal" it is so much better. I keep my dirty soft bags all the time on the T7 and bring inner bags into the tent when camping. Your rack extension looks quite well and I hope you'll achieve what you planned. Save T7 travels 💙💛🏁🤛🏼
I have the magadan 2's, they are a bit of a pain to fit properly (I have Outback Motortek racks), once fitted they are ok and stay on the bike until I have finished my trip. I take the inner bags out if I need to but leave the outers fitted. Overall, I think they are bombproof bags but not as easy to use as some of the other makes.
I found that to use the strapping bands vertical and horisontal is practical. And I see what you mean by other brands been more easy to use! We’ll see! Like I mentioned in the video I have have to wait for the snow to go away before I get to properly test them! ✌️
Had a small test-ride today :) Everything was tight and good! Its not often I need all of this storage, but its nice to have the possibility. I agree with you, the are easier system.. But hey, I wanted to try something else - I will give them a chance::) Do you use strapping bands to keep them tight?
Amazing work. Greeting from Patagonia Argentina

The exhaust side is critical, please show the tolerances/more angles when you have them on outside.
I will try to make another video when the winter is gone :)
why not intal cheap heat shield on the muffler.

Magadan is a Russian town on Barents Sea shore line, where most russian criminals imprisoned. Nothing can be good out of there.
