BLESS YOUR MAMA HEART ❤️ We are switching to homeschooling next year. I came here looking for a review for our soon to be 5 year old twins (one of which just prayed for God to help her learn to read). BUT I ended up relating to your story so much. Our oldest (9) has always been very academically gifted, and things come so easily for him. Then I found myself tearing up when you talked about the challenges your middle has had, because just this afternoon I held our sobbing middle son (7 yo) because he had looked at his midterm report card before he came home and saw he had a couple of low marks. My heart broke that despite my husband and I trying to emphasize we only want them to give their best, they get the impression that their worth comes down to report cards in school 😢 Thank you for such a thorough review of this program ❤
I needed to see this video! This is what I just ordered for my middle child as she struggles so much with reading, that we also end in tears with her school books. The pressure put on children is too much! I’m so hopeful this will help her ☺️ Determined mamas will do anything to help their children❤️
Thank you so much for making this video. I appreciate your testimony and the flip through. Seeing all of student items and teacher manual was extremely helpful.
It's wonderful to hear how the program has worked so wonderfully for your daughter! We use it as well, we are in level 3. They now have an app with the letter tiles as well. It's a great option. It's not a big deal in level one, but if you progress into later levels, the tiles are very useful because they aren't single letters, they are phonograms. There might be 2 or 3 letters on a single tile that make a single sound, and the tiles make it easy for the kids to recognize that.
Thank you so much. I have a daughter who's struggling to read and its been hard. Lots of tears. I eill be giving this a try. She has a problem blending the sounds together. Dhe knows all the letter sounds but when it comes to putting them together its like her brain shuts down. She did wonderful with TGTB preschool but level Kindergarten isn't working to well for her. Hee little nrother is doing great with it. So ill probably have her continue TGTB level k and fo additional AAR with her for extea practice. 👌🏽 20 mins is perfect.
Can I just buy the teacher’s manual and create all of the tools myself? Does it me “every single tool that is needed” in detail to complete the lesson?
Thanks for your question! I think that for this reading program to truly be successful, you do need all of the bits and pieces that come along with it. Every single lesson offers a different game or interactive activity for your child. There is never the same exact activity twice, so I think re-creating the printed games and activities would be pretty difficult. You also definitely need the student readers. You could get away with making your own word cards, but keep in mind that there are a lot of them. I bought all of our programs second hand for a cheaper price. Perhaps you could look around to see if there's a cheaper set in your area somewhere? It really is the best reading program out there, and I would highly suggest having all of the pieces that go with it.

Thanks for your comment! That's great to know! The app will definitely be something I look in to in later levels. 😊 thank you.

That's wonderful! I wish you the best of luck with it!! All About Reading really is the best reading program out there, in my opinion 😄
Your kiddos are the same ages as mine!😊

Public schools are rediculous.
