took off from LA on march 19 and landed in japan march 20, so i lowk missed my bday lol
i've been looking forward to this mom-daughter trip since the year started. it was my mom's first time in japan (and flying abroad in general!!) so not only was it a fun time for me, but it's also exciting seeing someone you love experience something new like this :)
for part 1 of my japan diaries we explore tokyo: visiting shinjuku, shibuya, akihabara, asakusa, kamakura, gotemba, and more. i feel like we did so much in those 5 days before heading to kyoto. lots of food & shopping, and waiting in lines for instagram recommendations LOL. now we know. tokyo's such a huge place though, there's so much more on my list that we didn't get to see! i already wanna go back~

oh... cloud egg... we call that meringue in the south. my grand mother use to put it ontop of banana pudding and put it in the oven with the door open to toast it. u take ur eye off it for a second and it will burn. wow totally forgot about that. this has been a fun vlog.
Is it only me that find it strange her mother is the one carrying the big backpack and all the shopping bags, while Annika has only small purse? Maybe there is a good reason to it 😅🤪
Lets not assume things from a 30 min video of her japan trip. The backpack maybe belongs to her mom so she carried it herself and maybe for the parts she vlogged, her mom offered to take the bags from her so she can vlog peacefully and then she simply carried the bags when she didnt vlog

Annika is showing her face more often after her surgery in Korea. She looks prettier, love her content, calms my nerves, but I guess it's okay to admit if she had plastic surgery instead of covering it up as a surgery needed for medical condition..

Yea, she mentioned jaw surgery to fix her sleep apnea. But she also elected to change it cosmetically during the procedure. The lower portion of her face was very long before the surgery. Now, her face is more rounded with a reduced jaw length. It's commonly seen with k-pop idols getting V-line surgery.
