ClaudioSanchezCC Like my third. I started watching when I was 12, 15 now, and his series brings me back to a 'happy' place, if you will, when I didn't need to care about too much. Also, I would re-watch it during 8th grade and go to bed watching it, now if I have trouble sleeping I watch these, and it helps me go to sleep.

I seem to recall having a helicopter pilot telling me that if shit gets bad on a helicopter, turning the engine off is not a bad idea, since the blades will spin long after you stopped powering them, guaranteeing a relatively smooth descent. Survival chance, surprisingly high, considering.
Good thing they didn't program these like in Just Cause 2 where all vehicles turn into pressure-triggered bombs upon ejection.
Yeah, it's called Auto-Rotate. it works the same way one of those spinwheel things do when they fall from trees. the aerodynamic blades get spun from air going up against it from the falling.
Although in real life you have cyclic and pitch control, so you can change the attitude of the blades right before landing to produce the most lift, after dropping the nose to spin the blades up
To auto rotate, tilt backwards at roughly 20* whilst holding down on your collective. Your blades will continue to spin, then at the last moment level out and power on to slowly and safely land.

For 3 Years ago..... I saw his first DayZ Mod video..... I was stoned.... Now I've seen his series all over again about 10times.
Everytime I see Frankie releases a new DayZ Video I grab my chips & soda, plug in the tv and chill.
A new episode of DayZ by Frankie is bigger than an episode of Family Guy for me.

Some people have all the luck. Kills three people on his own, gets a helicopter and escapes seconds before retribution befalls him, survives the helicopter crash and then finds a working fueled ATV full of guns.
And I fell off a roof seconds after finding my first gun...
I don't think this is luck. I think he has an abundance of skills developed, over a long period of time, into a second nature. Watch how he moves, how he strategizes, and how he has done enough research on the game to understand how people think, or how much damage a gun does. It's the little things that will give you luck. Aside from the ATV and the helicopter.

The reason why people do these things? Because of him lol. He does things that now, a year and a half later, are "normal". But he made them. He is 100% skill. Everyone calls "noobs" "Bambis" due to him. Everyone uses these tactics. And he started them, so of course he is infinitely better at using his own tactics than we are.
Yes in Dayz he is alot better than other players in Dayz, but in ACE, life mods, Domination he won't stand a chance.
DevilDogGamer is better than Frankie on ARMA but i don't know about Dayz because DDG rolls in a group.

Man I came back to re-watch all of this series just for old time's sake and it hit me with that nostalgia. The ending tune, his role-playing. It's all just the best.

@@chiefstain Don't worry, back in the day when this was recorded, sometimes stats would reset when you logged out and back in again.
Jodddy except his stats don’t reset but instead his Z kills increased, headshots increased, and murders decreased as well as the zombie count decreasing from 274/274 to 203/208. I am a massive Frankie fan, but take it as u will
@@davidlewis3867 there is literally no possible way to survive a helicopter crash in arma. it is a guaranteed death, its not like battlefield where u can just bail out and hope for the best :P

lucky you! i remember when i first found these videos i was so happy to keep watching, around ep 15 i bought the game for myself and i think its safe to say i had the best time playing it, i met some amazing people thru this game and i still talk to them to this day.
unfortinutly i think this game is dead now almost all true vanilla servers died long time ago and the only servers running today are Overpoch with sky-high cinder bases.
i might re-visit this game soon.

Sometimes, if the server disconnects you, it resets your stats. He talks about that in his first video. :)

that atv at the buttom of the hill reminds me of couple guys use to play with, they had base at top hill on another map would take their vehicles to bottom of the hill hide them in trees loot the town at the bottom for the normal stuff needed also had backup stash in a striped taxi behind a building

New to watching Frankies vids and Im just watching thru all his DayZ mod vids i am hooked!!
One of my most favorite TH-camrs and I've watched this series so many times I can't even count it anymore
i like the videos but i think its staged. he is doing all this solo with the help of some randoms do not think so. think he is in a clan that owns a server that has loads of stuff and he sets it up like a movie. tell people where to be and at what time to move and where to move. the other "players" are told not to kill (can shoot at and wound) him but do not know if they will die themselves.
as i said i do not care if its staged. its a good video and if its staged that makes it better IMO shows that the person i subscribed to knows what he is doing and will get me more good videos later.
Its a show/series. Lots of things are staged. Have fun with it.
