Daumier Being a bandit means playing only to take from others and nowadays means always killing on sight. You can't trust 90% of players so, that's just him being safe from his experience.

The other boring easy stuff to shoot one in the back sucks -_- i have still not killed one single player that did not try to kill me. no just he is able to edit very well, to make a very engaging story. He plays for 10hrs or more to get each DayZ episod recorded than another 3-4 for editing, it is very time consuming. I'd know :)

This is my DayZ story. i started playing DayZ a few weeks after it was released (early summer of 2012), even before it "blew up" in popularity. i found out that two other guys in my school also where playing DayZ. i kinda new one of them he was a friends friend, the other one was a stranger to me. i got to know them alot over the following few months while playing. i now had a squad to play with. i remember getting my first kill in DayZ, i was a fresh spawn in elektro just looting and minding my own bussnis, i was actually a friendly player (so cute now whene i look back. at it) i was a the hospital whene suddenly someone opend fire at me. he must have been shocked to see me or something becurse his aim was so bad, he missed me. i pulled up my lee enfield and shot him in the leg. i heard his bons break. i walked up to him and shot im in the face. i was full of rage. what had i done to uppset him i thought to myself. a few days went by. me and my newly found friends form school where playing, we where talking over skype. we got to know each other on our long walk to the north west airfield, i was so exited to finaly set foot on to the infamous place of military loot. we where soon going to learn about the strikt kill on site policy that was inforced there.. to makes things short, we got in a fire fight with 2 other guys and Anton got hit, we gave him a blood bag (our only one). then i got hit a few minuts later, i passed out. we managed to kill them and we looted them fast. we made our way out of there fast. now we did not have a blood bag for me so we had to go hunting in the woods and cook the food so that i could gain back blood. ooh man did i miss those sweet coulers on my screan after playing in black and white for 30 min. a week or so later we found our first car. it was a red civilian UAZ. we found it in Stary Sobor at the military tents. it was broken, it only had one wheel. so i had to stay and gaurd it while Felix and Anthon went back to cherno to look for vehicle parts. about 2 hours later we had fixed it. we also found a tent so we went up north to park it in the woods and to set up camp. that night i could not sleep, i was just thinking about our camp and the car, i was worried that someone would find it during the night. the next day we logged on and started gattering more medical supplys, food and drinks and ammo. we would always run it to a problem like a shortage of bloodbags or morphin, so we went to a town with a hospital and get some more. On the way back we would brake a tier on the car and the had to fix. going out looking for a car tier, then we would get engaged in a firefight with some bandits killing them then fixing the car and going back to the camp. every thing was so good back then, playing DayZ was so unpredictebel and like a journey. it was so unqie. Then one day we heard a helicopter flying over us. it was landing near us. They where going to refule. so we laid down in the tree line wating for them to get out of the helicopter. whene all 3 of the passangers where out we charged them, screming in direct chat. we killed them all and stole the heil. we cashed in some good loot and wepons as well. i will never forget this. flying the helicopter something i never imaged doing in DayZ. a helicopter was something so rare, so out of reach for us. but now we had one. One day Anthon told me about another map called Lingor. we installed it and played it. i was amazed by it and i fell in love with the tropical zombi survival setting. Lingor was my most played map after the chernarus ofcurse. Taviana was good as well whene it came along. i did not like the other maps i would have liked a bigger map like namansk with more towns, but hey you can't have every thing. Then early 2013 DayZ started to change. it first came in the form of servers with 200+ vehicles. then they started to add costum buildings to server, those kind of server where fun for a while but they started to take over. and soon you would not find any unchanged server normal survival DayZ kinda died out. it became worse, bots, missions, starting load out. and then the death match servers. other mods such as epoc and overwatch made the game boring for me. it was at that point that i got hyped for the standalone. but whene it releasd in late 2013 i got disapointed. i know its just an alpha but development was going slowly and we where missing core elements such as vehicles and heli crashes and zombis as expected in an alpha . they made the medical system to complicated with all the blood groups. (whene was the last time you blood baged anyone?) now in late 2015 we are still in alpha and still missing working zombis we have 1 type of vehicle and its an v3s. (more are coming in the next patch) it may become a grate game in 2030. development is to slow :( i just hope that i get to expiriens the old dayz once again on an server running the old mod. if you know of any server doing this plz contact me. i found so many friends while playing DayZ some of them i still talk to, 3 years after we met. DayZ was an uniqe gaming expiriens.

I have some questions. So if you die it doesn't allow you to play or is it you just start over from the beginning. And does this game have a saving option or is it once you log out you lose your character and have to start over?
Once you die you have to respawn and start all over again, but if you log out it saves your character in the same spot you were in and it keeps all your items.
Once you die, you lose your stuff, but you can get it back if your body doesn't despawn, and you loot your body. It allows you to save, in fact it saves when you log out! When you log back in (in the same server) you will spawn in about the same place, and keep your gear. Happy shooting :D
I'm fairly new here, and was womdering what the story behind the talking segment at the end of his videos, normally youtubers just put some flashy dubstep and call it a wrap, but Frankie has that at the end. Thank you to anyone who can explain

I have some questions. So if you die it doesn't allow you to play or is it you just start over from the beginning. And does this game have a saving option or is it once you log out you lose your character and have to start over?
Once you die you have to respawn and start all over again, but if you log out it saves your character in the same spot you were in and it keeps all your items.
Once you die, you lose your stuff, but you can get it back if your body doesn't despawn, and you loot your body. It allows you to save, in fact it saves when you log out! When you log back in (in the same server) you will spawn in about the same place, and keep your gear. Happy shooting :D
