you guys should do modern setup videos on all of the shelters. gives people an idea of how quick and easy it is to setup. i rewatch the Patrick Sawtooth one from time to time because it seems like every other time im out i pitch it like shit.

Such a bummer that Kifaru discontinued this tarp. Sure was hoping to get this one this spring. Such a great super light option for two.

Thank You for this Video. I watched this before we went to Zion National Park. We Hiked Angels Landing got back to our campsite late, Pitched the Mega Tarp in the rain, and had it not been for this Video, it would have made for a Miserable Time.

Aron, maybe Im wrong, but when I watched your video on the set up of the previous mega tarp, it seemed wider and the side walls were more vertical....is it just the way this new one is pitched in this particular video, or is the downsizing of the dimensions causing the difference in the walls as well? IM assuming that's the case because you mentioned it dropped from 52 inches to 48 if I remember correctly. Im still on the fence as to what shelter I want...the tut or the sawtooth (primarily a 2 person set up for me), but the mega tarp has always appeared to be another good option for a solo hunter for sure.

So why not just get the Tut? Easier set up. More room. Any additional weight is insignificant. Also, the Tut has a stove jack. This tarp doesn't unless you get the annex

Probably Kifaru's best tarp. So, of course, it's no longer sold.

    Favorite part ...
8:28 - Frank went to the rear entry...
8:31 - when you (Frank) come to the front...
    Frank’s a champ - just giving sh%t.

No toes to toes; is that homophobia or is there an actual reason? I always go toes to toes; it simplifies using one light, we can use one ruck as a pillow and best of all. You don't ever get kicked in the face.

Dimensions of the human body. Most two-man shelters are designed to be used that way since most people tend to have wider shoulders than they do feet. It gives each person more room. As for using one ruck as a pillow, you both are going to want to have your rucks in out of the weather, so not sure why you would want to use just one ruck.
