    I bought one of Beau’s tents this past fall. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. This tent is incredibly easy to set up and I’m not exaggerating when I say I can set it up solo in 8-10 minutes. I’ve used it in temps as low as 20 degrees and wind blowing 25. With the stove going we got it up to 70 inside. It’s done great in the PNW rain and wind and honestly keeps me outside and in the field a lot longer now that I have a warm and dry place to go back to. Also, Beau is just the nicest guy. He took several of my calls and answered all of my questions as I was making my decision. Really great to see Beau and this awesome tent getting the attention it deserves! Congrats Beau and hoping to see a lot more of these out on trail!

    Always good to see Beau and Randy. These tents look fantastic and I'm in the market. It's going to take some budgeting, but I'd love to be able to support Beau and I know it's going to be a quality tent. I'm going back and forth between the White duck Bell tent and Beau's. Even though the white duck is less expensive, it's a lot heavier.

    I bought one of these a month ago from Lure Of The North (Snowtrekker Basecamp 9x11.5)
    I’ve been wanting one for over a decade and I decided that this would be the year so I saved enough to finally bite the bullet on one. They are expensive that for sure but I take good care of my equipment.
    I’m heading out again this weekend. I love it. I also have an Atuk Artic 12’ and my brother has the Alaskan, my sister has the Esker. Great tents to get you out, even in -37°.

    I'm definitely interested in one. I started looking into them after the Dirty Podcast. I had a large wall tent that was just to big and heavy. Got rid of it. And went to a small trailer camper. Now I don't want the trailer camper. To many issues with the campers up in the high country. So now I'm looking for a small wall tent. This is definitely on the top of my list.

    Beau's tents look like there going to be a great tent. That's a great idea to be able to rent and try it. Beau spent alot of time in the back country so he would know what one would need for equipment. Price should not be a problem because most the Western hunters all are driving pretty new trucks 50 thousand or more They could buy a new tent with the money they lost driving it off the lot.
    God's Blessings Beauvon your new adventure

  • @drakeventures

    I dont really comment on many videos, but I have to put in my voice on this one. Having used this tent in both sizes for a couple years now as prototype and finished product I feel like I can affirm what beau has guaranteed. These tents are for the truck camper and packer/outfitter that want a easy, lightweight and tough as nails option for any adventure. I have used all of these tents mentioned in the comments (and even designed and built some myself). This concept is hands down the most versatile out there. I have used them for myself and clients for dozens of days in a row and all conditions. I have honestly yet to see a flaw with them. Better nights sleep and less maintainence. They r not cheap, but they r not expensive relatively speaking in the market. How many of us own expensive guns and optics as justify the limited use? Nights in the field equals racks on the wall. Not many products out there that will help with that as much as this. I saw Beau work through this design for years and thousand of miles, u can bet you won't even break it in before its paid for. Just my 2 cents..put me down for a couple more Beau...can I feed llamas and shovel shit to pay em off tho?? Haha

  • @Reindeer_Games

    Wonder if the stove jack would do better at the rear of the tent. Two jacks might be a good option. Also, a baffle inside might be good to shorten the interior of the tent for one person, leaving an unheated gear area in the back of the tent. Also, what are the metal D rings used for (front and back)?

    Ordered one of these tents last year, waited too long and ordered it just weeks before archery season 2022, but Beau was still able to get it to me in time. Beau was emailing me personally and changed the shipping location right before it shipped to me while I'm sure he was busy preparing for the season.
    My first night with this tent I set it up by myself at 0100, 10500 elevation, with wind blowing me around, and I was still able to set it up my first time in around 15 minutes. It's been rock solid ever since.

    I love all of the overpriced comments. So many people I see out in the woods are out hunting with their $2k rifle, decked out in sitka clothing, driving a $60k truck and then say a $2-3k tent that keeps you warm and alive is too expensive. I bought my snowtrekker tent a couple years ago and they have really blown up since then. I couldn't be happier. Are they expensive? Definitely. Never needing to stay in a hotel and having a warm shelter to share with your buddies is priceless when it's crappy outside.

      Most hunters don't spend 2k or 60k on a truck to be a hunter. Those are the rich guys who hunt from roads. My Sitka fit only cost me 500, not 2500 to 4 grand for a tent. Mt Remington 700 cost me 500 also.

    • @rlinzmeyer
      @rlinzmeyer ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JD91909 I never said most I said "so many". It's great you don't spend thousands on gear. I see and know tons of people that do. I drive a Toyota Tacoma and hunt a ton every year. Definitely not a $60k truck for me either (more like $35k). My point was about people complaining about the cost of something that's well made and made in America with customer service you can call in Wisconsin to ask questions. Things like that cost a premium. Clearly lots of other people are willing to pay given their expanding customer base.

      @duv so its a you isssue not an issue with the tent. If you're too cheap to buy it or it doesn't fit your needs than dont buy one and move along without making negative comments and ridiculous comparisons to a tiny 2 man shelter vs a 3-4 man wall tent
