Thanks for the updated video on the sawtooth set up Aron. I got drawn in WY this year...so my sawtooth will be with me for sure. Bought the liner for it last year too. I also have the supertarp, but there is a backstory to why I'm bring the sawtooth. Its a reunion hunt with my military buddies. The four of us packed in while stationed together and elk hunted in the bighorns years ago. Well....20 plus years later..we are going back! And this time I wont be in a crappy little two man tent under a Charlie brown Christmas tree. NOPE...I will be tucked in with a stove under a decent shelter I can actually stand up in!! Thanks for all your help in discussing the shelter, and providing the tips on the phone when I called. Your customer service is TOP NOTCH. That's why I also have a supertarp, AND want a reckoning/frame next. But $ is a problem this year, so that may have to wait.
I like it. More than enough room for one person and certainly adequate for two. Combine this with a woodstove and you're set any adventure! Four and a half pounds! It's not ultra-lightweight backpacking, but you could certainly easily get in the deep backwoods and commune with nature in whatever way you choose!
Great video Aron. I can’t say enough good things about the Sawtooth design and Kifaru quality. I’ve spent many nights in a Sawtooth in all extremes of weather and it has always exceeded my expectations. Adding a stove is just a cherry on top.
Even without a floor in a tent. You can dig a trench around the tent that runs downhill, the military has done it since forever. It was always the first order of business after setting up shelters.
I know this is off the shelter topic but does anyone know off hand what make and model pant he is wearing? I zoomed in on logo on bottom of pocket but can't id it off hand.
I have never had any Kifaru gear fail me in the woods. Stuff is freaking bombproof and so well made!

Love the job you have done of filling Patrick shoes. Good vid
I just received my medium stove and love it. Next purchase will be a sawtooth. Great design.
Great Vid. Could you maybe do a similar one for the 8 man?
Love it! I am going to be setting the Sawtooth or Tipi depending on if any buddies are coming along with me on my elk hunt!
That is a quick set up for that sawtooth!
Just got a Sawtooth and the setup is a little different than the Tipi. Good video, thank you.
Awesome brother; thanks for talking the time to make this, now i don't have-to ask stupid questions..
God bless
Great video pal. Good points for the other shelters

Did you all remove Patrick’s original video?
This thing is awesome!
Between the Tut and the Sawtooth, which do you recommend for 2 people?
What kind of pack is that?
Oklahoma Taxpayers Unite Kifaru Muskeg on the right, and either the Cavern or Crater on the left.
I still have blood on my stove pipe because I was so excited and I didn’t see the gloves until I was at least 4 cuts into it 🙄
Is that a ILBE pack? Looks pretty nice/big
Fjallraven pants , nice . What are those boots you have on?
Professional stake stepper oner🤣🤣🤣
What watch is that he's wearing?
Was wondering the same,.. Does anyone have any ideas on make of watch?..

Thanks, they seem legit functional and practical.
Check out the abisko lite pants from fjallraven. My favorite all around outdoor pants, and they look good enough for date night too
Nice tent for $800 not even dream 4 fraction of that price I could make my own and by the sewing machine
