the most annoying part about this is when conan was actually doing well and controlling the scene nobody listened to him. if cg did any of this you’d see spikes, air 1, multiple units, and open fire instead of ignoring the scene lead and going off duty mid investigation

Ramee (Conan)s scene control is next level. It's wild how organized things get and how well the cops work when he's in charge.
That’s the biggest cap I’ve seen all week. Ramee is definitely thinking in the right way, but holy shit there was no scene control doing this situation, partially due to no one listening to him, but also because he failed to follow up with the officers in time

Lang was dead for 10 minutes, that's why Marty was there. Scuff showed Lang standing. I couldn't believe Pred went free, but I can see from this pov why Conan let him go.
just because he walked doesnt mean he wont get arrested, marty ran so theres not much they can do without further investigation
i think because conan loves fucking around and we make jokes about him we all forget he used to be high command and can control a scene better than 90% of the department it was refreshing to see conan actually take charge and lead an investigation seriously
Most cops would have charged crimes based on witness statements alone or just being bias against the criminal. Conan was doing a great job trying to piece together the scene and only charging based on what he witnessed since he had no hard evidence that he could charge for sure based on the limited information he had available.
Didn't waste the arrested criminal's time on trying to press for more charges or go through a huge discussion with the other officers on what they could charge. Conan tried to get more information with threats of charges, but soon realized it was pointless since it wouldn't help get the other involved parties arrested without evidence even with the arrested criminal's snitching.
Essentially, Conan respected the criminal enough to not press further even when he got stabbed by him. Didn't abuse his authority as an officer and just charged based on what he witnessed, witness statements, and his own experiences as an officer to make his judgment. No outside source asking for help on charges like calling up a judge or higher ranked officers, just made his charges and let the criminal go in a short amount of time. Every officer in this server should for the most part be objective in a scene like Ramee did in this scenario. Also, apply charges that isn't bias and are strictly based on the information from the scene.
