Why is everyone kissing Ramee's ass in these comments? Dude made an illegal call to demand officers ignore a shooting and then placed himself as commanding officer of the scene which is obviously a conflict of interest. He then proceeds to bribe the chickens and witnesses to drop the case, giving the reason he didn't want other officers on scene. Spartan, didn't do anything wrong, he was definitely in his rights, and can definitely have Conan removed from the force for corruption, misconduct, and giving wrongful orders.

It was when CB did their very first vault (correct me if I'm wrong) Spartan wanted to breach (which will not value the hostages life) and AJ/randy the commanding officer at that time said specifically to do not breach. they got into an argument and he sent him off duty..
Yh he made a comment like "why not give them a foot rub as well" because he gave them time for the hostage, also called him a p***y a** b*tch, Aj called him out and the same exact situation took place as seen here, where he says something about not being around often and just doing his job. Kinda weird if you ask me.

9/10 I would go against orders again. In the real world you would just be fired on the spot for admitting the majority of time you would go against superior. Not saying I disagree with him but most would be fired on the spot for that omission. He also at the end slipped up and did say first that he targets only clarkson. Spartan also lied about how he went down because he heard just last week that Conan was still banned so he knew he was doing something wrong by even being there. Conan was unbanned right after the trial and that was over two and a half months ago. He hasn’t had a problem with Otto’s since and he’s been there a lot since then. He’s on duty at least a couple times a week. When Bundy and Ripley are agreeing that Spartan was in the wrong there’s definitely a problem with him.

Spartan's doing his job, there's a limit to following orders, like a cop leaving a scene with gunshots, telling everyone to no go to the scene and to ignore the 911 call. Spartan's problem is not going up the chain of command and just outright disrespecting Conan on the radio, he should have spoken to whoever was superior to Conan and asked for their permission.

You are going off duty. I want someone else now handling the scene. Maybe it's hard to miss since Conan's reasoning went downhill fast but this is and was obstruction of justice. So the way Spartan went about it was 100% wrong if he wanted to get at Conan again but the series of events leading up to it was definitely wrong by Conan.
What could be done if this happens is to sue in civil court and just have all the witnesses show up along with officers testifying that they were ordered not to show up to the crime scene by a superior officer and culprit.

Idk if there is a video of it, but when Conan, Ripley, and Spartan were talking in the office, Ripley read off the definition of insubordination and it fit perfectly with what spartan did. It doesn't matter how Spartan felt in that situation, if you disobey direct orders from a LT and argue with a superior on the radio, you deserve punishment. However, Spartan has done this 3 or 4 times now, so I think a LONG suspension or de-ranking him down to regular officer or even cadet would be a fit punishment.

They would all want to be the hero at all times, but in times, a simple follower could be very useful. A command structure keeps everything organized and helps to prevent things from being utter chaos of everyone trying to do everything without an sort of order or teamwork. People in command generally have an idea of what they're doing, but some fresh new guy won't and, say we went to the military reference OP said, that could very well get people killed. Command structures allow for strategy which is essential to every battle.

because it [the situation at Otto's] wasn't a serious RP moment. They [Clarkson and the gang members, specifically Marty] were fucking around. Basically they were treating the moment as the game GTA, and not as an RP GTA server. It's basically the same thing as you fucking around with friends on any game. Shooting a friend in a game for laughs essentially, but not doing it with the intent to team kill them or something. It wasn't serious at all. But then Spartan took it upon himself to make it into a serious RP moment because of OOC issues with Clarkson, potentially. Clarkson brings up the point of Spartan doing something like this to AJ Hunter as well. The link being that both streamers (Ramee and RatedEpicz) both have crim characters that are in the same gang (Chang Gang). Because of this, they don't come around on their cop characters often, as say Spartan does, and Spartan has some weird issue with that OOC. So therefore, he is essentially targeting them to get them out of command over petty bullshit like this instance. Of course this is speculative, but it could definitely be inferred as the reason why this whole thing ended up being blown out of proportion. But even after all of that, in the end it didn't really matter to Ramee (Clarkson) if Spartan disobeyed his order to not go to Otto's. It was the blatant disrespect for his commanding role over the radio, and then the off-hand OOC comments about if Spartan was a Ranger, he'd be a Lieutenant too, and if Ramee came around on his cop character more often he would know what to do (basically saying he'd know how to be a better cop). Which, again, is just totally uncalled for. It's a game. You are allowed to have fun, but Spartan made it not fun because he decided to puff out his chest, and be petty. That's the jist of this whole thing. Hope that explains it better.

If Rhodes told him "Investigate Conan's corruption, you act under my authority" is very different from Spartan's "I think Conan is corrupt, I'm not going to listen to him." If we were to go down the real life route, Spartan would be fired and nothing would be done to Conan because he went about it like a cowboy.

I watched this whole thing last night. Conan 100% committed a crime, then tried to cover it up. I agree 100% Spartan was insubordinate, and should have listened to Conan, and maybe taken it higher in the chain if he had an issue, but what started this whole situation is that Conan broke the law and tried to pull rank to cover it up. Every time I see Conan, he always (whether joking or not) says that he is a LT and that he should be respected. I love Ramee but this power trip shit is weak af
Granted I only saw this video, but from what it seemed like to me is that Ramee and the other guys were just fucking around, and then it was Spartan who came in, blatantly disrespecting his superior in order to make something out of nothing. Like, Marty was trying to gain something from a situation that wasn't even that serious, and *that's* why Ramee told people not to respond to the call. What do you mean by he has authority is in name only? Clarkson’s authority is very much a real thing, and that’s the problem lower ranks act like it isn’t. Not only is Clarkson a lieutenant he’s one of the dual leaders of a department of the Unified Police Force of Los Santos. That “you’re never around” comment was just as ineffective as when he said it to AJ Hunter. Spartan is a low ranking officer with delusions of grandeur. This isn’t his first instance of insubordination. He has now on at least three separate occasions demonstrated a general disregard for the command structure. I do not foresee much more leniency in his future. This is his third strike he should be out.
