Excellent demo video, the opening riff was very thick and perfect for that pedal. Great artwork on the pedal as well. That blend of two fuzz circuits covers many different styles of Doom out there. Which is awesome because you can use the same pedal to go from playing Sleep to Slomatics...
I have a Fuzz Face clone, 3 types of high gain Fuzz Face/ Soundcolour/ Damn Meathead pedals, and a few muffs, 2 of which are based on either the Green Muff or Russian. I tried every damn combo I could when the first demos of the Elder God came out. No matter what I tried, it couldn't achieve the Elder God tone. I came close, but it wasn't the same and I knew that changing the settings on the Elder God meant that me attempting to copy that tone was for not. So, I just bought it because I love that tone for my 7 string PRS SE downtuned to drop F. It sounds massive and brutal. Its the tone I've been wanting for my 7 string. Steve hit it out of the park with the Elder God. Oh, BTW, sweet demo, you did an excellent job as usual. I'm a plumber, so dropping the "F" bomb constantly is normal for me to hear.
@@TheDistortionPrinciple, I love Aghartha too.That and Sabbathi are my other favorites. Walpurgis is cool, but I always seem to get too much treble when using it and I don't want to keep messing with the knobs on my amp(s), so it doesn't get as much love as the others.
Short sweet demo🤘 I Liked the intro riffage. I'm really digging that Reverend guitar too, cool color. Steve is probably gonna get my money on this one.
@@TheDistortionPrinciple I got a Warlord in silver burst on their last run. I sold an ESP Viper I had set up In C standard to offset the cost. It was totally worth it. I'm a big fan of ESP stuff but the Warlord is better in every way. You definitely won't regret getting one. I look forward to seeing it on the channel.
@@TheDistortionPrincipleYeah they're 2 hard circuits to blend, sounds cool - but nothing special in the several demos I've heard. The Pharaoh is the king of the fuzzes, Steve needs to copy/modify, slap a does it doom badge on it, and believe me it will sell.
@@TheDistortionPrinciple and I'm going off on a tangent I realise, but in some sections of the doom community Iommi is the 'fuzzlord' with endless fuzz boxes using him as the marketing tool, his tone is probably more driven and boosted than pure fuzz. Even sweet leaf - one of his gnarliest tones - to me screams sludge rather than fuzz.
@@mikerauter1859 yep. I don't think he ever used a fuzz in sabbath. It was actually a treble booster which is what i used for my iommi tone video and thats one of the best toena ive ever gotten

Yea! That first riff i had it set more into darker muff and then turned it up closer up to center for the rest of it

I've had the fuzzcoven, walpurgis, aghartha and this one. For me my faves were the walpurgis and aghartha
