I got the Doomsaw for my birthday and it became one of my favorite pedal to use!! Also played At The Gates with the Doomsaw and Metal Zone for boost!! 🤘
Those pedals own. I’ve bought a couple from Steve and now only do they sound great but the customer service and delivery from Steve and DID are second to none. Ships to Scotland within a week. Need to buy that Doomsaw soon…
Nice comparsion. I have a Sabbathi and I use it mostly for my bass (but also for guitar when I recorded my new album) and this is one of the best pedals I've ever had. Great sounding and great looking
Sabbathi is the most massive sounding pedal I’ve ever owned or heard! I use it for downtuned 7 string riffage and I turn the gain down to use it on bass with my band. The doomsaw is mean as shit on both bass and guitar, too. Good video!
Really really nice breakdown of the entire line of pedals, I think this is the first time I have seen anyone doing this, and your presentation was excellent. Clean and Clear, thank you!

Steve and Does it Doom make absolutely stellar pedals. (Don’t even get me started on their gorgeous tolex pedalboards; we’ll be here all day! Lol) It wasn’t until I saw you and other cats demo these boxes that I realized how surprisingly versatile one knob pedals can be! It’s a small thing, but for me, the fact that you can adjust the dimness of the led lights on these is a feature I would like to see from larger pedal companies. Thank you so much for showing these on guitar and bass! They absolutely SLAY stacked. Excellent thorough rundown of the pedal line, Eric! Cheers!
Thank you Zach, I totally agree! The 1 knob pedals that Steve and his team are creating have been absolutely stellar! 🤘🤘 the pedalboards are absolutely amazing too. 🤘🤘
I just got my Fuzzcoven in the mail the other day. It's probably the best sounding fuzz I own! Great video! Now I want to check out more pedals from Does It Doom?
Oh bloody Hell! Eric is using the Warlord for the Does It Doom demo! Prepare thyself for the onslaught of down-tuned doom mastery! Super kick ass guitar- such sweet tones . Great video
Wow, where to begin???!!! Great demo sir, as per usual!!! Love Steve’s work, I guess if you looked at my pedal board it’s obvious. I’ve got 5 of them. Also, digging the new ink man, cool stuff!!! All the best to you Eric, great work sir!!!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Love this! I play bass! My BIG question/guidance….i love doom, stoner etc…. I seek the WWII B52 bomber like tone of electric wizard. Amp head, cabs, pedals? Where do I start? MY little peavey 100 w combo isn’t hanging anymore with the rest of the blokes. Laney 500 w digbey head and barefaced 3x10 cab seems ultimate! Advice???? Thanks
they ALL sound great in their own way. they are all uniquely heavy, and very innovative and accurate recreations of various legendary pedals or rigs... I like them all... however... if I absolutely had to pick just one as my favorite, I gotta go with the Baghdad. it just sounds the fullest and thickest and most tweakable of the whole lot.
I don't know man they all sound fuzzy to me but I think the Walpurgis sounded fantastic with the electric at any adjustment and the bass did not sound good at crank but perhaps that 5 or 6:00 would have been okay for bass. The Agartha was nice on guitar. 30:36
They typically build pedals in batches so it’ll probably be back in stock sometime soon-ish. Also, I’d suggest checking out some does it doom dealers! They might have the Giza in stock
@@djacobmadrigal those are retail stores that stock the does it doom pedals. I think you can find them on the does it doom site, or I’m sure you could search on reverb.com to see if anyone has them in stock
For the Fuzzcoven, it’s all about the circuit. The fuzz face circuit has a very unique reaction with even the slightest change on the volume knob due do changing impedance I believe. For other pedals like the Sabbathi, what you’re hearing is the pedal reaching the amp’s headroom limit. Once the headroom limit is hit, the sound starts to compress more and bring out frequencies that aren’t typically heard at lower volumes. I hope this helped!
Great question, for this video I’m plugging all the pedals directly into the guitar input on the dsl. I’m in the high power mode. And im running the dsl’s speaker out into a Universal Audio Ox reactive load box which loads the amp down and I can play silently. Inside the Ox, I’m applying cabinet/mic emulation and then running the ox’s 1/4” out into my interface.
Oh wow ok that makes way more since how you were able to get that tone. I actually bought a Baghdad pedal and a marshall dsl because of the tone you got in this video thinking all i had to do was run my guitar>pedal>dsl amp>the dsl’s emulated out>computer and got no audio into the computer on garageband. So i did dsl emulated out into my scarlet interface> garageband and was god awful. Kept the Baghdad .Returned the dsl. Bought a Shure SM57. Went guitar>baghdad>boss katana> Shure Sm57> scarlet>garageband. Finally got a good tone.
@@Thewhitescale ah, so glad you got it figured out! The Katana is absolutely amazing! I usually use the katana for my videos - I use the rec out and monitor through my interface
I think it really depends on your own preference. Any of the pedals without a volume knob on the outside have a trimpot on the pcb so you can fine tune the volume to where you want. Or you could use something like the Doomcaster (or any other full range boost pedal) as a volume control. As for the tone control, I kinda think that the lack of a tone control may make the pedal a bit more useful if you have an eq pedal to place after it. Again, it's really up to personal preference. thanks so much for watching!
This guitar is a Woodrite Warlord! Steve and the team made a few lefty’s in the last run. Check out doesitdoom.com - I’m not sure if they have any left, there might be some on reverb.
