Bangladeshi (former East Pakistan which was formed due to partition of British India in 1947) fight with west Pakistan 9 long month, more then 3000000 people sacrificed their lives ! Yes India supported Bangladesh by taking refugees back then and joining the war at the 3rd December 1971 after Pakistan launched preemptive air strikes on northern India, and Bangladesh gained victory 16th December 1971. I am as a Bangladeshi, very grateful for that and always will be. But before you talk hatefully and try to create religious disruption in Bangladesh, I suggest you should learn history first! We are not accountable to India for attacks on minorities but to our constitution. It is our moral responsibility to protect the minorities. Most attacks on Hindus were due to their association with the former political party in power because in that time they oppressed opposition parties. After an uprising these types of attacks are not uncommon but not expected.

I am an Indian Christian. Christians and Muslims have special minority rights. There is even quota system for Muslim students. The only issue BJP has with us is Christian missionary activity. There are three Christian-majority North East Indian states through missionary activity. As a Christian, I am totally against conversion by giving incentives to poor people. Muslims should also stop Dawa/Conversion in a pluralist country like India. If you think you only reach heaven through Jesus or by accepting Muhammed as Prophet, that in itself is a starting point of intolerance toward other faiths. Muslim clergy has to say, " Small Jihad (Employing violence) - Concentrate on Big Jihad which is inside your mind, Kafir (Unbeliever), Murdath (Ex Muslim - Death sentence) and Ummah (Muslim brotherhood - Focus on Universal brotherhood) don´t apply in a pluralistic country like India. I have a question: Can a good Hindu or a good Christian reach heaven, without accepting PM as Prophet? According to Islam - NO

This is a people's revolution.Indias some media & political leader trying to narrate it as the revolution of extremist which is totally bogus. India should respect the will of Bangladeshi people. India had supported a autocratic govt for last 15 years which made annoyed Bangladeshi people. It is time for India to rebuild ties with the people of Bangladesh.

You elected a govt. Indian govt had ties with the government of banngladesh. When the new government will be formed we will have ties with them too. Don’t talk like India proped up this government. It would have been nice not to have any relation with Bangladesh in any capacity. That’s would have been best for both side. An average Bangladeshi supports Pakistani more than Indian it’s they identify has Muslims that’s it.

@@StayAlertfrom786you've no idea how india helped her to stay in power. Even in january she was in huge pressure from UN, EU & USA to held a free & fair election. She got enough help from india to calm down USA & EU. You may see a huge anti indian mentality among Bangladeshi, but you've never tried to focus on the root cause. Yes, I accept there a small group of extremist, but main anger was the unconditional & unethical support from indian govt to a dictator. I hope Delhi should reconsider their foreign policy about Bangladesh in a way that relationship between two neighbours don't get affected even after regime change. We can't change our neighbours, nor can we help a dictator and get unpopular among neighbour country.
