Rookie: Breathes
Josh: His career is OVER!
Affirmative
I like to think this is his way to not jinx them, so they perform well
The one time he talked good about one (antonelli) resulted in prema having a shitbox and ruining his championship
To be fair he does think that Antonelli and Bearman are the next big thing, it’s just all the other rookies who have no future lol.
He's not wrong though
josh do you have faith in ANY of the rookies this year?
Antonelli and Bearman
@@distortion2752 yo they werent asking you
Alonso
@@_Niteah yo bad joke bro
@@distortion2752 it is interesting to me that josh seems very confident in antonelli. Who's like 17 years old. And basically nothing for any of the others
The Josh Revell reverse jinx redemption attempts continue.
lol Josh and his tone/story telling could make Verstappens career to date sound like a flop ngl 😂
As the FIA will now substract points for swearing I think Hadjar will finish with -190 points in the championship
First time a rookie and last seasons champion have the same points total…
And RacingBulls will finish by -350 points with their 2 hotheads lmao 😂
He'll be second from last after they had to invent a new number for Tsunoda.
@@exp2745 this actually already happened in 2007 with rookie Hamilton and previous champion Alonso.
He'll still be behind Yuki.. 😂😂😂
Next couple of videos gonna be like: "The Low Odds of Liam Lawson Succeeding" and "The Cruel Fate Kimi Antonelli Has Ahead of Him" and "How Haas will be Horrible for Bearman"

We call that "Winter Slop"
He has to be negative so his impeccable jinx powers will help them lol
next video:
It's Already Over for MAX VERSTAPPEN
True. You can make video on any driver like that. Its over for Max! He scored less points in 24 then in 23, with Ford coming in RB will drop in constructors for next couple of seassons. Oh no its over for Max oh no he will leave F1 so sad... etc
Nah Hamilton crashed while ferrari testing hamilton cooked video coming soon
Max Scored ZERO points in 2025, his career is over..
Josh before when a new young driver did well: New superstar, next driver of his country.
Josh now: His caeer is over (he hasn't debuted yet)
ffs I thought he was talking about Napoleon
Same😂😂
Same :P
Nah nah
He was talking about Jean Alesi.
Macron
@animeshpati5525 I think you were correct Napoleon was the first of the three😂
At this point, Hadrien David needs a whole WHAT THE F HAPPENED TO video
I can tell you, his father has millions, but not the full amount of millions that Mr. Hadjar has
We NEED this
I like the regular reminder that you just need a good wikipedia page to get Mr Markos eyes on you

dude's mission is to put the fear of god in the heart of every rookie
You mentioning Alain Prost at the beginning, you gotta do a video on him Josh. No one gives him the respect he deserves
Cuz the F1 world is too busy overpraising Senna (yes he’s talented, but Alain deserves more attention) even tho Senna dated a 15 y/o.
Totally agree. People don’t realize how Prost is maybe the goat
Because Senna was a better driver than him, and a better person. Remember, Alain crashed Ayrton first in 89….
@@darudytoo simple and biased to say that
He beat THE guy Senna for four titles we should name him with the other three Schumacher, Hamilton and Senna which is the Mount Rashmore of modern F1

Fun fact: Napoleon... wasn't short. That was English propaganda. He was average for his time, and he was known to prefer taller men for his elite personal guard, but he himself was not actually short.
Isack Hadjar situation is crazy
You like it because he is arab
He is not a future champion, just a casualty of DEI insanity

This guy showed literally no potential in his entire racing career except for his last season fumble, and yet he made it to the grid, while someone like Theo Pourchaire never made it despite being consistently fast over his whole career. Make it make sense 😂
I would've picked pourchaire over him for an f1 seat but hadjar definitely showed potential his whole career.
Theo deserves better than he received. Indycar guys loved him but McLaren for whatever reason didn't want him. The guys in the team called him "Teddy Porkchop" and he worked well with people and he was not slow. Considering the learning curve.....he should be in F1 or Indycar I think just on maturity and potential. Isack doesn't have the temperament I suspect
Last season he got rocket engine cause of redbul
It never makes sense
Yeah he’s talentless garbage and will fail miserably. In the 3 fp1 sessions he drove he was 2-3 sec off the pace on average
Damn, imagine being called the little version of an already small person. At this point, Hadjar is the size of Jiminy Cricket in my head.
R1 rookies inspired by Cars? I never thought a Josh Revell video would make me feel old, but here we are.
Do agree with what Josh says about Hadjar, he has shown he's very quick driver in both F3 and F2 but the concern is how he will cope with the pressure and keep his emotions in check when he drives in the pressure cooker which is the Red Bull family. We have seen when pressure on him he makes fair bit of mistakes or just have very poor weekends when it matters which is factor in how he lost F2 title last year.
0:30 I thought you were talking about Napoleon lol
I’m sure he was 😂
This Hadjar guy is just average at best. I could name 5 better drivers, who would deserve an F1 seat, but never got the chance. Let's start with Drugovich, Iwasa, Maloney, and so on. But Hadjar? A bad joke.
Man, the comment section demonstrates a bunch of people don't actually listen to what you're saying. But rather hear individual words and decide you think something you never articulated.
You got it! Finally someone who understands what is going on with these vids
It will be interesting to see how his musings turnout
Watch this space
Have a great day
Catching Marko's eye usually takes being in 2 places at the same time.
Soooo, shadow clones then.
Please Isack just PLEASE, por favor, quing, bitte, s'il vous plaît, sisplau, kudasai, per favore, stop screaming for one second.

The only difference between Napoleon and Prost is that Napoleon was actually _average height_ for the late 18th-early 19th century.
The conception of Napoleon as a midget was brought about by a series of cartoons depicting him as tiny in comparison to the Duke of Wellington.
Hadjar=France's answer to Logan Seargant. Lance has to be so happy there will be a more mediocre driver on the grid than he is for 2025.
Lance Stroll: Hold my beer.
I wish Hadrien David got a good shot at F1 his junior record was so solid
Looking forward for Josh's video discussing the rookie Alonso.
2 bite size hotheads, 1 team..
2025 is gonna be awesome! 😅
Lets hope they don't catch the short end of the stick when things heat up...
I would get my coat but its way too warm outside for one.
@@RACECAR 😅👍
I enjoy hadjars cornering style and racing spirit. One of the main reasons to look forward to the season.
Yeah the driving style of a rising star very unique like max Lewis and Charles
Catching the eyes of Helmut Marko is 50% harder than all the other F1 scouts
1:24 isack is a man of quality i see.
I mean obviously, he and share practically share a name.

Are people seriously this hyped about Hadjar that they’ve gotta have a go at Josh just being realistic? He makes valid points - and he’s not saying he’s gonna be trash, but looking at the evidence, Hadjar feels very premature. Kinda reminds me of when the 2010 “new teams” started promoting the most random people from GP2: Haryanto, Pic, Chilton - that lot. And sure, there was Jules Bianchi and Daniel Ricciardo, but damn those teams absolutely culled the GP2 top 10 at the time.
Seriously, why Hadjar and not Pouchaire or Drugovich? It’s utter madness how much talent is being wasted on the sidelines right now
i know it was a rhetorical question but given it’s a red bull seat he’s filling it’s kind of obvious why it would be him and not drugo or theo
@@wife9571 which proves that this dynamic with the development programmes sck balls. F1 should have a pilot draft like NBA anyway.
@@wife9571 that's true but also when you take into account fricking liam lawson is getting the red bull seat and that there were so many other drivers that could have taken that seat if things shuffled around a bit drugo or pouchaire could've ended up in the grid for other teams
there's hope for drugo, he's racing for cadillac in imsa so maybe..?
Dont let liam hear you calliing some one else the next lighting mcqueen
time will come when we see an f1 rookie who says they wanted to become an f1 drivers because of dts
0:10 He also put in place the Concordat, which is why high school exists (in France at least).
anyone remember his move at imola around the rivazza corner
one of the coolest overtakes i have seen in a while
redbull love these drivers that they can iron out the kinks in, could work really well. hope it does.
Josh believing more in Hadrien David than in any rookie this year
In his defense, How many drivers can brag that their mere existence consistently kept that one guy from never finishing well in a championship or better then them? That might be Dark magic more then talent but still.
9:31 "He struggled to match Bortoleto's pace" wtf dude he was 4 tenths faster 💀
11:36 what do you mean don't play the hindsight card no one saw DeVries getting kicked out? Literally all year people were calling into question whether DeVries even deserved the seat and whether he should be booted. By his final 5 races, everyone, and I mean everyone on F1 TH-cam, Instagram, Reddit, Twitter, on the TV commentary for christ's sake, everyone everywhere was calling for his head. This was not a hindsight thing, it was very very clear very early on DeVries was nowhere near up to snuff. I love your videos and they are so quality, you do not need to resort to sensationalist revisionism to tell compelling stories, so please don't.
3:23 "... where it appeared to pee off..."
Thanks for these videos it's great to get an entertaining intro to the rookies to F1.
I wish any of these youtubers would let the guys get in the fkin car
“catching Marco’s eye”
I see what you did there!
It depends on which eye - the one that works of the one that doesn't.
This video showed how much Haddien David deserved a chance atleast in F3!!!
Max Verstappen had no junior formula championships, it turned out OK for him
I was about to say this. Max has lots of karting titles though and of course famously only had 1 yeat in lower formula
@@rexmedorum well isack has zero karting titles and also we talking about max
@ I just meant to say that despite both having no junior titles the situation isn't quite the same, that's all. Let's see how Hadjar does.
I applaud your naming of the 2nd RB team. My only question is, who's losing their seat first this year, Doohan or Hadjar?
You just need to look at the results, nothing spectacular. Plus the fact that he clearly does not deal well with pressure makes me believe that he is not fit for an f1 seat. In my opinion this makes no sense, unless he has a boat load of money, which is probably the case given that he is in this position right now and for example Hadrien David which is widely considered as a very fast driver is not in his seat.
With the new FIA rule, he can expect half a season ban as soon as he's blood pressure rises. XD
Weirdly despite the negativity its good to learn more about each rookie and shine light on to the feeder series. Does the whole system a lift in the end
I agree almost completely with this take. He's not slow, but im frankly astonished that he made it given how competitive the journey to F1 is, i would have thought that others get priority, Iwasa being a good example for a fellow RB driver, Maloney for his speed and Paul Aron for his consistency being two more to consider too
.
I think he’s in an alright spot despite Redbull not seeming that excited about promoting him.
Tsunoda is guaranteed to leave and not be in the RB next year which leaves room for Linblad, so it’d take Lawson getting dropped back to RB and someone other than Hadjar getting the Redbull seat and Verstappen not leaving before Hadjar is out of a seat.
And I just don’t see that happening
The intro... the whole time I was like.
"That damn Prost"
If hajdar is prost, then bortoleto is senna
That’s not a very nice thing to say, if you don’t mean on track only.
then he should stay away from minors
Man you Cought me off guard when you said cars i thought you were reviewing cars again
Will you be making a positive video this year?
Would love you to cover what happened to Theo Pourchaire
Now I get the real reason Lawson got the call up. They were worried about having to fans of the Cars movies in the same team would be too much
Not someone who i ever thought would get to F1, but i'm certainly looking forward to see how he does
Speaking of Hadrien David, it’s a real shame he never got the financial backing he needed to move further up the ladder so that we can have a better measure of his skill
I've been saying this phrase since 2022, when I saw Hadjar "destroying the car!" in Monza, and the phrase that made me secure that Bortoleto would win the F2 championship:
Hadjar is his own worst enemy. The boy has an innate ability to auto-sabotage
Josh: ‘pissed in the corn flakes’
Me, eating cornflakes while I watch this: ‘wow thanks for that visual Josh I really needed to hear that 🙄’
"Said driver, has a few issues on his own. Being born in Paris [...]"
Yeah, being France is definitely an issue...
Josh Revell pulling out a Jacques Villeneuve on Daniel Riccardo on 2024.
(Context: Villeneuve was talking crap about Riccardo, so he scored a good results to prove him wrong)
Marko and Horner whinged about Yuki's lack of maturity, and then give Hadjar a seat! Not done anything to deserve the seat IMHO. This is just evidence that RB don't have any options and didn't want to pay a small fortune to get Colapinto.
That look he’s giving in the thumbnail immediately doubled my respect for him 😐👍🏻
Really liking this series, can't wait for the antonelli episode. Wait, hasn't there already been one?
Prost was obviously superb. I think the fact that Jean-Marie Balestre admitted in later years that he went out of his way to make decisions in Prost's favor in the late 80s and early 90s leaves a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.
I'm not sure if I learned even one thing about Hadjar and his abilities in this video. That leads me to suspect Hadjar is another pay to play driver with no real expectations.
awesome video, going to be interesting to see what happens
I think this Hadrien David guy might be the first actual instance of living Kryptonite I've heard of. Hadjar must be glad he won't be on the F1 grid because then his mere presence would destroy his career.
Hadrien David Said himself Hadjar was his biggest rival
He doesn't have any faith on the rookies, it's so funny 😂
I look forward to Josh doing this soon. Rookie edition 2025-The Fight on the Grid for Not Last.
1:09 I’ll be calling all of my professors this for now on😂😂
"Red bull is historically unsympathetic to drivers that don't deliver" vs. Last 2 years of perez at red bull
Saying his temper is one of the main factor of his F2 title loss has got to be the worse Josh take I've seen in a while
I came into F1 fandom as a fan of Jean Alesi in that sweet scarlet #27. Love an angry french driver with a bunch of latent talent, anger issues, and terrible luck.
good video, but i hate the beginning of it. do you think we are stupid?
I think you might've taken that part abit too seriously.
Having this kid and Prost in the same sentence, just shows you didn't see Prost race in period.
Same driving style
Why'd you cropped out Pin on the photo at 1:16 ?
Everyone here jokes about Josh dooming young drivers in his video titles .....Why do you think he keeps doing it? All of you clicked on it, didn't you?
Since Bortoleto's video ended with a song in Spanish, Hadjar's video should've ended with one in Italian.
I’d argue Loeb is the best driver of all time. Ofc it’s hard to compared but talking about success and longevity.
Rookies in 2025: My dream has come true! I am a full-time F1 driver!
Josh: *laughs in ad revenue.*
So in 2025 we are going to have two unbalanced crash prone drivers in Alpha-Minardi-Rosso-Bulls?
I thought you put Token (the rapper) on the thumbnail and was a bit confused at first lol
The real question is: What is the gap to Bortoleto?
I love your content josh, what do you think about making a video on redbull ampol racing switching from chevy to ford?
Between him and Yuki there is gonna be alot of beeping . . .
And with the FIA's dumb new rule, they're gonna be seeing that swear jar alot.
People hate Josh Revell for negative talks nowadays, but they forget that she has an almost supernatural, 95% accuracy knack for Jinxing drivers.
Maybe he tries reverse jinxing?
Multiple references to "catching Marko's eye"... subtle, but cold. 😅
Has there been a pic of Hadjar and Tsunoda standing together yet?
Eh, I feel like this video is actually a pretty accurate take. I'd be surprised is most of the rookies don't look terrible this year.
redbull alpha minardi radios are going to be fire this season
Genuinely curious if you can get a full sentence out without chopping it up
Every comment is making fun of you for these last few vids but like... where's the lie? Alpine paid out the nose for Colapinto to be RESERVE driver; that's clearly aimed at Doohan, don't know how you can argue otherwise. Red Bull has a well-documented history of dropping any driver who isn't Verstappen-level in half a season (or brings the money a la Perez), so again Hadjar is immediately under pressure.
The Bortoleto one is definitely less certain. We don't know for sure how much Audi will pressure their drivers to deliver, it's a much harder situation to call. But hey 2 out of 3 ain't bad....
