Zebra River Crossing in the Mara River, Kenya - Timeless Africa Safaris

They saw 300 zebra crossing the Mara River. They sat and waited for 60 mins for the zebra to cross. There were a lot of stop-starts and much drama! One zebra took the plunge and the rest followed, surrounded by 35 crocks waiting for their bounty.

Found one zebra going back after crossing the river. Seems she missed her mate. One found fell victim to the enemy.

Those crocs look a little on the small side to take an adult zebra, but they might be able to grab a calf.... but i suspect most of the crocs are waiting for someone else to make a grab and then they will join in afterwards with less risk to themselves.
