So glad you like this Springfield, my first semi auto was a stainless slide XDM 40 s&w 16rnd with 4.5” barrel, it was an absolute tackdriver, I still have a few videos on my page shooting it and hitting multiple times at 50yds easy, every SA I’ve owned had worked very well, I get some people just don’t care for them it’s all good and all comes down to personal preference, great video! Thanks for the review Brother! Just bought 2. Perfect learning gun for my teenagers (love the passive safety). Drove to the Scheels flagship in Dallas so we could try everything and kept coming back to the Mod 3. Ergs were excellent, has chamber and charge indicators, trigger was surprisingly excellent (tad long on the reset but natural), solid sights, perfect front serrations and rear wing/flared slide back… and the price! This blew away the S&W SD9. Decided that with in-store rebates it just made more sense to get a second one than spend $30 on a 2nd mag :). This also gives me an excuse to get the 32 round mag lol. Certainly other options out there with higher tier components, but not as feature-rich or wallet conscious.
It really is crazy value, through all the hate XDs have gotten they've always been reliable guns. Plus this one 299 you get optics cut flat faced trigger a really safe system and springfield has some of the best mags for the $$. I love my glocks, HKs and FNs but I also like a good deal.

Well, sadly, I have not had the best of luck with quality control concerning Smith & Wesson so I guess it depends on what model you would be specifically referring to but in the case of this one, the XD mod three makes the SD 92.0 look like a airsoft pistol. 🔫. Also, Springfield is an American own company, but 85% of their guns are manufactured in Croatia 🇭🇷. I guess at least Smith & Wesson is made here in the states but I’m not a huge fan of Smith and Wesson either thanks for watching and for commenting be sure to subscribe if you have not already

I have the Springfield echelon and the new XD mod three I would not get rid of neither one. I like the grip on my echelon my new XD nine is my truck and gym gun.
This is the first time I’ve ever heard of the rails on the rear of the gun wearing out,, yes they are plastic but look how much metal is on the front rail, it takes 99% of the ware and as for the rails on the rear just look how it’s built ,,
I mean, I’m looking at some of my CZ and even a couple of my older Glocks. In fact I have looked at several of my big namebrand guns since you made this comment and a lot of them have plastic at the rear some of them a lot and I have ran those guns in some cases three or 4000 rounds, and I don’t see any noticeable wear. So I don’t know how many rounds you would have to put through it for it to wear enough to make the frame worthless, but I can’t imagine that the average person is not going to put that many rounds through it.
@@GSquaredTactical I’m with you,, it’s mite be possible it happened some kind of fluke thing ,, but I’ve never ever heard of one wearing out,, I’ve got one of the first xdm made and I no I’ve gotten 15k rounds threw it and the back rail is fine,,, hell I no a guy that has one that’s got close to 35k rounds he was telling me at the gun range a couple weeks ago and I no he’s telling the truth he’s a retired Green beret and was in the ranger regiment and he reloads his on ammo and shoots a couple times a week and pounds the crap out of his equipment,, he goes threw all the shooting drills he done in the military and he’s a dam good shooter,, I’ve learned so dam much buy just watching him,, it’s amazing how all them S.F groups can shoot.

So what I have done recently is I have done so with music have done some where I start out talking about it first and then do the shooting with the music, and then some with no music at all because I want to have something for everyone. One was on a shield plus, one was on a shield plus carry comp, one was only response 9 mm carbine And the M&P 2.0 carry comp

This is a nice gun . but the rear plastic slide rails are junk . shame on springfield for doing this . when they wear out the gun is junk .

I bought a mod 2.0 magazine and it works just fine. Bought mine 5 days ago. Run 100 round with a pre cleaning and oil. Ran just fine.
