Hi Dominic Kerberger-Lorquet , yes apologies about that, the video is a bit dark. The bulbs are very hard to reach but if you can get your hands on the the rubber boots and pull them off you just remove the plugs and unclip the bulb. The clip is the hardest to handle especially when trying to close again, I explain how to do this in the video. Apologies again and I hope this helps
The Bird looks nice with the protector on, but I would take it off for night riding, it looks like it causes a lot of light scatter, the light looks more focused without it, if you take the screen off access to the bulbs is easier! Nice video.
Hey, just letting you know that touching the globe with your bare hands puts oil on the glass. That oil causes hot spots and the glass can deform and ultimately fail. Great video. Wondering how to adjust the beam height. Happy days😀
Hi Sarah McKinnon, thanks for your comments. To adjust the headlight beam... On the back of the headlight assembly are two plastic thumbscrews. The upper left is for vertical adjustment and the lower right is for horzontal.
Hi STEVE FERMON, you can buy the headlight protector online, Ebay. You can convert the headlight to LED, if you search online you will find some conversion kits. Cheers👍
Hi Sahir van de Veer. Thanks for subscribing, LED’s are great. Of course you can ask about the rim stickers, got them from Ebay. See link below. CBR 1100 SUPER BLACKBIRD XX WHEEL RIM STICKERS cbr1100 rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F261353542018
Hi Daniel Kaplan, I’ve never had this issue with my 2001 model. I know the early models did have a few electrical issues. Check the forums this one in particular is very helpful. www.cbrxx.com/#/
Hi Moto Manic, I wasn’t aware there were 2 options for the tint. This was one I just purchased online, sorry not sure if it’s the lighter or darker one.
@@xxmotovlogs9809 Hi again, thanks for the reply. Will check a bit on that and see if i can find a light tint one. Its mostly for the added protection i want it. My bike had HID's installed when i got it last year and im not even yet sure which spesific bulbs i need if need to replace ;-)
I have a clear headlight protector on mine so it protects the headlight but it also lets the full power of the headlight bulbs through. Job done.
Was dreading doing me bulb today but once plastic inserts we removed from under the clock I could quite easy change both bulbs 10mins and done 😁
Can't see a thing, still no clue how to even reach the top bulb (low beam), let alone change it

I think you should pull the tinted cover off at night most definitely... Thank you for the post it's been helpful to me✔️💯🏁🏁🏁🇺🇸
How can you reach the top bulb without dismantling the fairing...can you show on a video?
