      There are no jobs here. I've been here since 1999 worked temp, a couple of non-profit but didn't last. Don't move here if you have an Asian last name your an outcast they are red necks. I have excellent working skills from silicon Valley no jobs. I am sorry I moved here.

    I minor correction to the video. The Nevada State Railroad Museum does NOT offer a Polar Express Train. Instead we offer a Santa Train. The difference is critical, with the Polar Express Train, there are people who play characters from the movie and royalties must be paid to the copyright owner. With a Santa Train, there are no characters from the movie and no royalties must be paid. The Nevada State Railroad Museum runs the Santa Train the first 3 weekends (Saturday & Sunday) from 10 AM to 3 PM. The train runs every 1/2 hour and tickets currently cost $10 each. I should also point out that except for January, February, and March, the museum will run their equipment on several weekends of each month from April to December.

    Prisons in only two locations. I live by one of them. They are not an eyesore. I've lived here since 69, I don't even notice them anymore. I like Carson City, but if you don't, move. And if you do move here, because it is a great place, assimilate into the city, don't make it what you left.

    how is the homeless situation in carson? thanks! loved the vid

    • @JenAlmeidaRealtor
      @JenAlmeidaRealtor  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for watching! There isn't a huge homeless problem in Carson City, but of course there are some homeless people. It tends to be more of an issue in Reno than Carson City.

    You forgot one big con.
    The 3 prisons up on the hill.
    And one of them is the oldest in Nevada.
    And is a huge eye sore.

    @mikiewifnoe360 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    This is a huge con if you ask me. The chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime in Carson City is 1 in 70. Based on FBI crime data, Carson City is not one of the safest communities in America. Relative to Nevada, Carson City has a crime rate that is higher than 58% of the state's cities and towns of all sizes.

    Carson City is depressing. Tahoe is so nice and green, then you drive down to Carson City and its brown and gross. Too many meth trailers. I'm sure parts are nice, it just wasn't for me.
