    Carson City is dear to our hearts because Ryan Chicvara was born and raised in the beautiful state Capitol!!! Not the actual Capitol building….. just CC.

    Carson City is the Capital of Nevada. Feels like all city services are well funded.

    We’re contemplating a move to Reno/CC from Bend, OR. Thank you for the good information. I think we’ll have to visit and check them out this summer.

    I'm curious about the wind in South Reno. Down around Damonte Ranch. It's hard for me to choose between Reno and Carson City. Little things like wind might make the difference. That is if there is a difference.

      no difference

    • @LivinginRenoNevada

      It's not going to be a huge difference, but Carson tends to see a little more wind than South Reno. If you're on the fence, both are great options, and the wind won't be an issue at either location.

      @@LivinginRenoNevada Thank you. South Reno is also close to the airport. Easier to travel.

    Good stuff guys. My family is interested in moving to Carson. Are there any good churches that you would recommend and Christian schools? Also any recommendations on best neighborhoods for families with kids?
    Thanks

    Great video! Would you say the area is no longer good for short term rental investment given the local restrictions?

      It is not for everyone. Reno is a bit larger and only 25mins away.

    I think you left out the homeless problem and if the winters are severe.

    • @LivinginRenoNevada
      @LivinginRenoNevada  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We did leave out the homeless, but that's because the homeless really doesn't exist in Carson City. The winters are similar to Reno, not a huge talking point to chat about. This winter does still SUCKKKKKKK!!!

      You will definitely be welcomed to Reno. Majority of the population is Caucasian and Hispanic, but we are constantly becoming more and more diverse. Let us know if we can help with the move.
