The journey from Missouri to Oregon and California was demanding and dangerous - testing the stamina of even the most hearty pioneers. And Mother Nature was not about to make it any easier for them. Heat, cold, storms, snow and ice faced the pioneers all along their 2,000 mile journey. In this episode we take a look at some of the weather conditions that made the migrations west even more challenging.
