- IT’S BACK! CARP FISHING'S LEGENDARY WINTER SERIES RETURNS FOR A NINTH SERIES
DNA’s longest-running carp-fishing series returns for a ninth season, as we head to the Cotswolds to visit the magnificent Bramble Mere, a venue famed for its scaly mirror carp.
The Winter Series has taken us all around the country over the years, including the likes of Linear Fisheries, Norton Disney, Farlows, Elphicks, Cuttle Mill, and many more besides, but this is the first time we have visited Bramble Mere, one of UK carp fishing's premiere exclusive-booking venues.
Charged with putting a carp or two on the bank for the cameras are Lee ‘Mozza’ Morris, Olly Sanders, Nicky Mills and Perry Alabaster, none of whom have fished the venue before.
Tune into DNA Digital TV from 7pm on Friday 2nd February to see how the lads tackle this hugely popular water and see if they can get their hands on any of the scaly carp for which Bramble Mere is renowned.
🚨 Alternatively, be part of the premiere from 5.30pm on Friday, 2nd February, to get the very first glimpse of this epic winter session!

Quality watch as always guys onto the next adventure tightlines look forward to the next video 🎣 👊
Good video nice to see you back
Cracking fish and enjoyed the film 🎥 cheers 🍻 👏
The autumn series by the look of it
It was filmed in late November so technically not winter but starts a series that goes right through. It is the same every year, and has to be done to get the sessions in. Thanks for your input though!
Mozza loses two fish in weed.. Says he needs to be more on his rods.. Still takes him 40 seconds to get to the rod 😂
Probably have to start filming late autumn then through winter when people are available etc.
Quality lads
great stuff
Just to wipe out what he said about his rig ring and it being versatile for different hookbait sizes. You can tie a normal blow back for a 15mm bait then if you want to use something bigger just use floss through the hair loop to extend. 🎉😮
Maybe getting to the rod a bit earlier would prevent them getting in the weed. Even the 3rd daytime bite it was 12 seconds......
Nice watch though 👌
Im on my syndicate later this week for 72hours at chilham mill down in kent
good water i know couple of lads who were on there, nice fish ive fished loggies lake nearby few times, had several fish topped off by a lovely fully scaled just under 30 spawned out
@darrenking3622 it is a totally new water for me but luckily fir me I know a few people that have fished it over the last few years & given me some info & Intel on the lake etc so I'm hoping to hit the ground running & get at least 1 bite or run on my 1st trip if I don't then it is a piece if a jigsaw that will fall into place slowly but surely once I start to figure the lake out & feeding patterns etc just gotta put in the hard graft & get to grips with the lake & fish to find where they visit & what time of day etc 😀
The drop of lead rig at 47:37, how is this rig for fish safety. After loosing two fish they swim with lots of line? Or am I missing something? Ps: beautiful footage enjoyed watching.
What knot do you use for attaching the fluorocarbon leader to the braid, also how long, does it not cause frapp ups with the two different diameters when casting?
Mozza how do you make that rig
When does the "winter" series start?

Loose clutch in weed , and not dropping leads don't help much 😘
Yeah i was surprised they're not locked up
Doesn’t look much like winter 🤔
I've been out pretty much every weekend from Christmas eve, untill now. We've had 12c, -4c, 5c then back up to 10c... Weather's been all over the place. Sometimes, it feels like spring, and other times, it has been iced up.
@@Onpointcarp bet there’s no leaves on the trees and bushes tho . This looks more like fishing in Autumn than winter
50/50 most trees and shrubs that Do lose their leaves have, but its a mix.
Just looking through my photos and there's still plenty of green...some trees are still clinging to dead leaves. My far bank marker was a really tall tree still full of green leaves.
Looking back at my Christmas eve photos.. back drop looked exactly like in this video :)
@@Onpointcarp yer I’ve been out and I wasn’t in just a hoodie
Definitely doesn't
Mate that’s late autumn not winter at all
