Do you soak your dried herbs before putting them in the column? I have the same in the video and I do not get much oil. I followed all directions. Maybe just 1-2 mls at the most. But I love the distiller.
I got the 2 litter for essential oil and it is so well built that I was impressed! Real Fast shipping to USA thru their website. I waited 5 yrs to buy my first distiller bc other distillers did not convinced me. This is a work of art.

Ahhh yes, paper books to prop up the burner plate....absolutely nothing could go wrong with that setup.
During the distillation no books is adversely affected

I'm shopping for distillers and this model appears to be efficient.But I got so many questions. I may give you a call to talk to you instead. One of my questions is about about the type of lavender you distilled in this vid, its purity, pH etc.. So 3" vs 4" for a 5L distiller how were those dimensions determined? also, if I get a 10L Can I use those columns in the 10L why yes and why no? are the columns interchangeable?

I like the design, however the essential oil does not look pure and contains organic brown material in the oil, mostly at the interface with the hydrsol. I put mine around under the trees they are just dried out plants but I save the water that comes out and use it to make mouth wash and cleaning products

I got it and when I was given the FedEx tracking number it was in my post office that day. I can't wait to use it. Beautiful, well packed, and a great sample of Rosemary for the kit I ordered.
