    Trying and trying. Can’t do it right. I follow everything but by bit but my knot definitely is not like yours. I’m tearing my hair out.

    This is perfect, need it for a axe in cosplay! I'm gonna use some faux leather do to me not having real but I think it will work basicly the same! Thanks again!

    You need to go next to the standing end with your working end to have the same amount of bights on each side.

      You are correct. Next to or underneath the standing end depending on the leather lace and how I am finishing the knot. Sorry if I was not clear about that in this video.

    On my sixth attempt at braiding with the 1/4" lace, it's waaay harder than the 1/2" 😖

    Once you move it to the item you want it on, how does one tighten it?

      Transfer it to where you want it before you trim off the ends of the lace. I start at the beginning (standing strand) and follow the strand using a lacing fid to pull the slack out. Basically just pull a little loop of lace and then pull up the next part of the strand and move the loop around the knot until you get to the other end.
