Sophie, I really like your reviews. I'm 65 yrs old (4 hpc on 6,300 yard course) and know that my swing speed is so much closer to yours than many guys with their reviews. So keep on making your great reviews!!

Fantastic review. I have the DCB irons and they do exactly what you have shown. Not super long but launch high. I am a 10 hcp player and they are the best irons I've had. Everyone needs a little help and these irons deliver that.

@@orangemanbad I got fit recently and tried the DCBs and the standard Apex. To be honest, both were excellent. I ended up going for the standard Apex just because the spin rate was a little higher but there was not much in them. I play off 4.8. Have not got my Apex irons yet. Hopefully next week. If I were you I would go with the DCBs. They are awesome.

Well balanced "Real" view for US ordinary golfers, ladies and Men....NO other video talks about head size of clubs Sophie does, DCB slightly larger to add confidence levels...that's all we need to know, perfect Thanks...Blokes all talk about Look what I did hitting these at XYZ mph swing speed hitting 7 irons 195+..That's just stupid...WE DON'T....... best Video on here by miles...Sophie hits them like 60+% of average Men golfers....Men Professional just bang on and on about Spin, swing speed, and how far! GREAT VIDEO IN ALL ASPECTS..Thank you.

I've been playing apex Pro's for 7 years, 14s, 16s, and the 19s... Just ordered the sweet spot set from callaway 3 days ago in graphite, your video just proved to me I made the right decisions, and I no longer have to work as hard as I have over the past 7 years. It's time to play smarter, with all their technology going into these irons its crazy not to take advantage of it!!!

but those 2021 pro's tho are absolutely gorgeous. I was determined to get a combo set with the pros but the 4 month lead time scared me away. I went with the Apex 21 6-pw with AMT black shafts, just got them tonight and boy are they pretty. how are you liking that Sweet Spot combo set ????

Great review! Been watching tons of reviews on these irons. I currently play a combo of CF16 Apex (4-7) and ‘16 Apex Pros (8-PW). But, I’m older now, had my second hip replacement, and have lost some swing speed (driver now around 90, and 7 iron around 78). But, I love the look and feel of my Apexes and want to just get the more modern ones that hit a tad higher with stronger lofts (my current 8 is a 38 degree that I’m carrying in the low 130s on the range with range balls). However, all the “mens” reviews are guys swinging driver at 110 and an 7 iron at 90, so not very helpful for me. Glad I found your channel. Your swing speed is more in my ballpark, so your analysis is more helpful. Thank you!

    Nice review. Thanks.
Last season I decided to upgrade my Ping G25 irons.
    I play to a 10 hcp.
After two fitting sessions with the local Callaway reps I decided on the Apex DCB.
I tried Mavrik, Mavrik Max, Apex and Apex DCB.
The Apex models felt and looked better than the Mavriks.
The DCB gave me better launch angles than the Apex.
Since we're still in deep freeze in Western New York State I have been hitting them in an inside dome.
So far I am very happy with them. Can't wait to get on the course!

i’m a 68 yr old mid-teens handicap Callaway devotee trying to decide between Rogue ST Max OS and Apex DCB … I like the Rogue price point but would be excited to see Apex in my bag. I’m all into forgiveness with distance as a bonus (and back in the day I loved the feel of my 80s era forged blades). I’m always looking to improve and it seems like a toss up for a player of my capabilities, etc. Thoughts?

GREAT Sophie...Based on your Video I bought DCB's from Callaway Direct....and you are RIGHT about the sound I found them to have an awful noise Very Clicky-Clacky sound, especially on feel shots between 20-90 ish yards, just like hitting a stone on the face, and zero feel!
I used Prov1's and Callaway chrome soft and TP5's to check, all sounded rock hard & terrible....Not sure which part of the club is actually Forged?....They went back.

I have Callaway XR OS Irons and my 7 Iron is 266grams, I play an 80gram speedster steel regular flex and I have no problem getting very good club head speed for my swing... approx 80 - 83mph club head speed. You stay down on the ball longer when you swing indoors vs out. Check it out yourself.

Nice review Sophie but I’m not sure I want to feel like Annika at address ;)

What does it matter if you feel how you hit it if you can see how you hit it, once it’s hit you can’t take it back. Feel is overrated in my book.

Great review. I have been looking at these irons for a while and I think I might get a combo set of them both 👍🏌🏻🏌🏻
