Egal, in welcher Stilrichtung man spielt. Dies ist meine Meinung, jeder kann seinen eigenen Stil entwickeln.
Entirely lovely! Entirely inspiring! Many thanks! Thomas, your comment about just saying Thanks when someone compliments your performance will change the way I respond to favorable comments at the end of a concert. Thank you very much for that wisdom. What are the names of the pieces you two played?
A friend who was trained in Violin by Isaac Stern would get chastised by him for putting too much effort into technical perfection but not enough heart into his playing since a machine could be made to play it technically accurate however it would sound mechanical without the subtle variances of human feelings/heart. Finger style guitarist Chet Atkins would advise those he mentored to learn the words and sing them silently or aloud when you practiced so you could better understand what you were playing and play how the words made you feel. If there are no words then make up your own based on the title of the piece and the mood it suggests. Look up the words to Chuck Mangione's "Feels So Good" and you see how much better it gets once you know them or even better find the youtube video from Cannes performance in 1989 where he has Rob Mathes sing the words. I just discovered Thomas, the Mnozil Brass, etc, etc and found this personal peek into his family quite enjoyable. I can relate with Hans being the oldest brother too. Hope all continues to be well with you and yours. Best!
Habe super viel mitgenommen. Vielen Dank. Über den Oberkrainerstil von Slavko Avsenik gäbe es allerdings mehr wertschätzendes zu sagen als nur Schädlweh. Jazzharmonien ect. Hörts euch "Goldene Oberkrainer Klänge" an, dann redn ma nu a Moi. 😎
Dear 57dogsbody! I'm not quite happy with such statements......you forgot to add that this is your personal point of view! Getz sounds better than Coltrane? They are both unique! Be careful with such apodictic attitudes in terms of sound and also in life in general. :-)
Herzlichen Dank. Genial immer genießen❤
Wunderbare Menschen, Gott Vater behüte sie🙏🙏🙏
Ein Genuss ! Vielen Dank ! Super😀👍👍👍
Wie geil ist DAS denn? Endlich mal beide Meister zusammen......
Was für großartige Vorbilder
Wonderful playing. Trumpet or Flugelhorn were equally balanced and it was hard to tell who was playing the top note. Thanks for posting!
Schaue ich mir bereits zum 2. Mal an und einfach top zum zuhören 🤩🤩🤩
Einfach super, danke
Ein bezauberndes Brüderpaar, Meister ihres Fachs.

The old geezer has a better tone than the bearded guy with the bent trumpet.
57dogsbody that geezer is one of the greatest trumpeters of all time
