Banks is a perfect interviewer !!! Damn ! He lets a person talk, doesn't interrupt, listens to him ! After watching New Blast Podcast, where it's one way talking only from the side of the interviewer, this one with Banks looks smooth and plesant !🤩👍

Just crazy that he was pushed to basically have Niko as his support player in a way lol. G2 was genuinely probably the best team he could have landed on

Depending how well I know the player it’s different but for some of the players like m0nesy who came up in the academy league which I was heavily involved in, I feel a lot closer to them. I love doing longer interviews like this and plan to do many more in the future!
I have only watched the first 30 minutes of this interview so far and man, this is so high quality From your side Banks, you're a really good interviewer, you actually have respect for the person talking and letting them finish what they want to say while also being enthusiastic. I respect you man a lot About m0nesy, this kid's amazing. Not only he's so well mannered, thing which I find really impressive, it shows how well his parents and people around him have been, but also how great of a player he is. I became a G2 fan in 2021 when I heard about him joining and I am really happy about that. It's a pleasure to watch this kid play, he not only owns most of the people in the server but also keeps his head level which is really important. Never let the fame dictate you career. Big kudos to his big brother taking care of all the admin stuff for him. I am also really happy to see him lift some well deserved trophies with the boys at G2. I will have to watch the remaining of the interview in the days to come due to time haha but so far I am really impressed with this UPDATE: I finished watching the whole video and boy I got some thoughts: I really like how well mannered he is and humble, like, I genuinely believe that's how he is. I find it so wholesome how he gives credit to everyone whom he had worked with, from the coaches to players. I was also impressed how much he puts focus on the game itself as oppose to the money he can make. Him choosing G2 because of the players around him is really good, it shows how much he values these ideas. I really liked that moment about the baby goat nickname, I thought it was cool from the second you said the first time Mr. Banks. I do believe once he will get even more experience pressure would all but disappear from him, even when it comes to big tournaments. Having won both Cologne and Katowice all while performing well is really impressive. G2 have substance, and while in a bad form at times, they have the quality they need. You always ask what people want to hear, you always seem very dedicated and i just love how you always, no matter if is an underdog or a well known player, you are giving them a lot of respect which is very nice to see. You are very great with your words, a very good listener, a lot of charisma, and very serious when it matters. Might sound strange, but everytime i see you talk, it brings such high level of seriousness that makes me remember CS is not just a game. Sure your looks and voice also help a lot, but with everything i've listed i can easily say that you make the big tournaments way more enjoyable.

Given the fact how big of a superstar he is at the age of 19, he is so humble and grateful to everyone that impacted or still does his progress and success. Electronic once said that the best teammate he got to play with was markelloff and I have reasons to believe when it's all said and done, Ilya will have the same rep: insane awper and teammate as well
That mouz nxt lineup that m0nesy had to play against on navi junior is pretty crazy when u look at it consider 3/5 of them are the current mouz lineup with the 4th being recently dropped for a new mouz nxt player and the 5th was already on mouz

Seeing how Monesy is hurt by not winning IEM Katowice 2022, even when he played well, I imagine how it must feel terrible for Niko losing Stockholm major after whiffing those deagle shots on S1mple :( And Niko was playing insanely good too, unlucko)

Pretty sure he will be Na'vi main awper after S1mple retires. Probably going to join as a second awper, like he always wanted, and then s1mple will eventually retire and then M0nesy will be the main awper. S1mple also joined multiple teams before Na'vi, and i'm pretty sure he wanted to play for his country and then he eventually did. Even though M0nesy is russian, i'm more than sure he sees Na'vi the same way as S1mple does.

Playing under G2 flag with mature players in the roster certainly helps m0NESY grew up a lot, looking forward to this kid in the future.
Completely agree, G2 as an org and the players around him is certainly a big factor as why it is helping him.
